Now that all of our divisional teams have completed thier bye week here is what remains for each;

Browns have;

-vs- Pats (6-1)
-vs- Jets (5-2)
@ Jacksonville (4-4)
-vs- Panthers (1-6)
@ Miami (4-3)
@ Buffalo (0-7)
@ Cinci (2-5)
-vs-Balt (5-2)
-vs- Pitt (5-2)

Cinci has;

-vs- Pitt (5-2)
@ Colts (4-2)
-vs- Buffalo (0-7)
@ Jets (5-2)
-vs- Saints (5-3)
@ Pitt (5-2)
-vs- BROWNS! (2-5)
-vs- Chargers (3-5)
@ Balt (5-2)

Pitt has;

@ Cinci (2-5)
-vs- Pats (6-1)
-vs-Raiders (4-4)
@ Buffalo (0-7)
@ Balt (5-2)
-vs- Cinci (2-5)
-vs- Jets (5-2)
-vs- Panthers (1-6)
@ BROWNS!

Baltimore has;

-vs- Miami (4-3)
@ Atlanta (5-2)
@ Panthers (1-6)
-vs- TB (5-2)
-vs- Pitt (5-2)
@ Huston (4-2)
-vs- Saints (5-3)
@ BROWNS!
-vs- Cinci (2-5)

From what I see here if the Browns can win one of the two home games, coming out of the bye, they should have some major confidence going at the teams in the following 5 games. With momentum they could win one, if not both, of the final two home games against our division rivals. Ending the season with a respectable finish in the division.

Cinci could really implode as they have a significantly tougher final drive and having an early bye week. Four divisional games and four games against teams with a 4-2 or better current standing. The only WIN I see them having a real chance at will be Buffalo.

Pitt has the easiest of all our division schedules. They are only facing 3 teams in the next 9 games who currently have more than 4 wins. Althougn they do have to deal with 4 games against divisional rivals, and those are never a gi'me game.

The Ravens have likely the most evenly matched, and difficult to determine outcome, schedule. The reason I say that is because the majority of the teams they face down the streech have at least a 4-2 or better standing. Only three teams that they will face currently have less than 4 wins; Cinci, Carolina, and the Browns. Both divisional games, like always, is never easy regardless of how bad the win/loss record states.

It will be a very interesting end of the season as it is very possible the Browns could come out holding second place in the division. May be a bit optomistic but it is still possible.

Anyway, what is your take?

I think the last game against Pitt will be for the division crown.

Pitt lost last night, and I have a feeling Cincy is going to clip them next week, and then lose to N.E. the week after that because NE will be fired up after losing to us this week....the same deal that happened to them last night.

I think we can win 8 of our remaining games.

Agreed. Technically, anything is possible (e.g. running the table with 9 straight). However, here's what I think we'll get:

-vs- Pats (6-1) - L
-vs- Jets (5-2) - L
@ Jacksonville (4-4) - W
-vs- Panthers (1-6) - W
@ Miami (4-3) - L
@ Buffalo (0-7) - W
@ Cinci (2-5) - W
-vs-Balt (5-2) - L
-vs- Pitt (5-2) - W

Perhaps we could steal a win in Miami, but that's about it. 8-8 would be a great result for this team, IMO.

I really think we can win the next 4 games...and will. At that point things can snowball.

Our D isn't allowing many points and the O seems to have found it's recipe....hammer the ball.

But, first things first....beat the Pats.

New England is 6-1, but not an "impressive" 6-1, if that makes any sense.

With the right gameplan, NE can be had.

The gameplan? Smash it down their throats. I still think their defense is suspect against a power running game.

Pats are playing well right now, so I think it will be extremely tough. They don't make a lot of mistakes, so to beat them, we can't either.

Don't get me wrong... I definitely think we can beat them. Coming off the bye week will be helpful. Of all the teams left on our schedule, I think the Pats will be the toughest. It should be downhill from there.

Waiter, I'll have what they're having.......

I hope you'll excuse me if I wait until I see how we do against the Pats before I book my playoff seats......

I think the implosion is here. I am exposed to a lot of Cinci fans and, as always, they seem to come out of the woodwork when they make the playoffs, only to disappear when it's obvious it's another "one-and-done."

Anyway, they looked like crap getting into the playoffs ("we didn't need to try that last game") and they left the playoffs with a lot more force than they got in with. Then the big T.O. signing and all the Super Bowl talk, and their fans on here talking smack and talking about our poor Browns.

So here we are, with the same record but us holding the advantage due to head-to-head. The wheels have fallen off of the bandwagon and it's fairly quiet now.

I think the implosion started, but it will continue.

I say we atleast finish the season with 5 wins.... anything more than that.. I'd be surprised.

Teams I would absolutely love to beat... in no particular order..

1) Jets
2) Steelers
3) Patriots

Those three games IMO will decide what direction this team is going in terms of getting better or worse.

-vs- Pats (6-1)
Probably a loss. But could be a HUGE win

-vs- Jets (5-2)
Probably a loss, but I would be less surprised if we win this vs winning over the Pats

@ Jacksonville (4-4)
Who knows! This team is so up and down. Gerrad looked GREAT yesterday. They have a good running back. And there defense isn't that bad. But I think we could win this one.

-vs- Panthers (1-6)
We better win... all I'm saying

@ Miami (4-3)
Tough team... could win it though since it's at Miami

@ Buffalo (0-7)
Better win

@ Cinci (2-5)
Better win

-vs-Balt (5-2)
-vs- Pitt (5-2)

I'd guess we'd splint one of the last two... more likely we'd beat Pitt... Baltimore looks really tough this year with a good defense and an offense that has potential to be very explosive....

So maybe 4 or 5 more wins for us... with that said I think we're in every game! I don't see us getting blown out.
