So last week a buddy from ROTC and I decided to run in the Akron marathon. We were called crazy and no one thought we'd finish becuase we didn't train for it. Anyways, despite no training, we both came with (what I feel is) a respectable time of 4:05.

Has anyone else here ran a marathon? If so, what did you think. Personally, I'm hooked, and plan on running the Cleveland marathon in May. I'm going to actually train for this one though. How about we get a bunch of dawgtalkers out there in May for a little stroll around Cleveland?

Weill I guess I should say no formal training. I run often, but never more than 5 miles. After I signed up last Sunday, I decided to test myself and try a 10 mile run. That was the longest run of my life prior to yesterday though. I was pretty happy with our efffort. We didn't stop running the entire time aside from two bathroom breaks.

Best part of the run was the two free beers after we finished
