It sounds like music from the 1960's Super Man show. I loved that show and I also had the whole outfit and used to jump off the couch and act like I was flying untill I hit the floor.

Guess I must be the only Saturday Night Live fan from way, way back.

Actually, that really is the old Mighty Mouse theme in my clip.

Andy Kaufman ruled. He was great at the crazy stuff, but I thinkk he really shined on the understated stuff like that.

I'll agree and say it's from Superman staring George Reeves.

I had no idea that Superman was originally portrayed as having been raised in an orphanage.

It's also amazing how good the animation was back then. They had to do everything by hand .. no computers ... just hand drawn cell after hand drawn cell.
