My better half and I may be playing hookie tomorrow and were talking about heading to Erie for the day. Been awhile since I was there so curious to hear any ideas/suggestions on what to do. It will be a day trip only, can't stay overnight this time.

If you're into vineyards: Mazza Vineyards Never been to this vineyard, but I have had several of their wines. Pretty good and inexpensive.

If you fish, go fishing. Also plenty to do outdoors at Presque Isle (assuming it's nice outside).

Presque isle is nice, so is the casino. There is a great indoor water park too. What kind of stuff are you into? If you go to the vineyards there is a great little place to eat out there called Freeport resteraunt.
