Just wanted to let everyone know I had to make an emergency trip to Ohio. My dad is doing poorly and was taken to the emergency room this morning. While there unbenounced to the doctors he had another stroke and we are going to be taking him to family physican to have tests done. They are leaning towards a possibitlity of kidney failure if he still is unable to go. I am going to be staying with BlondeSteeler during my time here in Ohio.

Thank you every one. Dad's condition is still shaky and he made the comment to Shon that he's not dying until the new grandchild is born. (my neice is due within the next couple of weeks)
Just got another phone call that our youngest sister was rushed to the hospital and we are waiting for information on what's wrong with her.
Please keep the prayers coming.

Dad is doing as well as can be expected. Maronda has a peptic ulcer that is thickening the lining of her stomach. Now for the fun stuff. Christa called me while I was sitting at McDonald's across from Salem Community Hospital trying to access their wifi. I am now sitting in the Maternity Ward at Salem Community Hospital waiting to find out from Dr. Lee to come and check her out and let us know when we will have a new baby. Unfortunately, Dad told Shonda that he wasn't dying yet cuz Christa hasn't had the baby. So, it's going to be an interesting few weeks. I will try to keep e1 posted as to how things are going and when we have the new baby.

Grandma to be is home safe and sound from her conference in DC. Christa is at home on bedrest until her ultrasound next Thursday. I will keep everyone posted. Thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts. ( we sure are needing em big time this week.)

Don't dismiss thiss too much.... My Grandfather had emphysema. Bad. They gave him less than 3 months to live. My father was in the midle of a tour in the Air Force in Germany with his family and my step mother was pregnant with my sister. My grandfather said he was not going to die until he saw my sister. He toughed it out for over 3 more years waiting for Dad to be deployed back to the States to see my little sister before finally passing away...

Pete, I know what you are talking about. My adopted dad was given 6 months to live but lasted a year because I had to find my biological family. Dad had a decent day yesterday except he did have a few moments of nasty. Christa is due any day now and we do have her mom home from DC. I will keep every one posted.
