Expect the second map pack to be released on June 4th on the Xbox 360. And as I was reminded, expect it to come to the PS3 around 30 – 35 days after. Priced at $15, what you’ll see are two revamped maps and three new ones. Here is the list:
Carnival – A daytime map set at a “decimated amusement park," full of rides you tend to expect there like fun houses and rollercoasters
Fuel – A “sniper haven;" full of wide open spaces in an oil refinery and is “completely unique” from other maps in this resurgence map pack
Trailer Park – A super condensed map, cutting through abandoned trailers and is pretty much “a maze," full of items you would expect to find in an American trailer park community
Strike (classic MW map) – A very fun and balanced map. Strike has a few nice sniping spots, in buildings and is generally a great place for medium to long range rifles
Vacant (classic MW map) – Vacant is a great interior map with half of the map mostly covered from airstrikes.
I don't like Vacant that much but 60-70% of the map is indoors. I would have preferred Pipeline:(

I hate this 30-35 day after crap. Just freaking release it all at once.

so can i buy this pack and be ok to play online even if i didn't buy the first map pack?
this one sounds a little better than the first one that came out, although i haven't seen it, just heard from those who bought it.

yes you don't need the first map pack to play the second map pack

i got a few microsoft point cards from christmas that i never redeemed, maybe ill pick up the pack. got back into playing mw2 while i was fighting allergies the entire weekend.

Did you got to the resurgence pack area? Its a subset of the game types.

the new maps are now in the playlist for the different games.
i like all the new ones. could've done without vacant, and strike was ok i guess.
