Was watching Inside the NFL on HBO and when talking about Randy Moss Chris Carter said that the raiders should trade Randy Moss to the Browns, where he can be coached by Terry Robiskie, who he says Randy would respond to.

I dont know if i would like him or not, but it is an interesting idea, and some props to our recievers coach.

Before i get one of those stupid one word "no" posts, remember, i dont want him, just typing what i saw.

The way Braylon's been running his mouth lately, he'd probably fit right in! Seriously, I wouldn't want him. It would be the same issues, different quarterback.

no....

better yet... HELL NO

First... I'm not huge on Terry as a WR coach - what have our WRs done but underachieve under him?

Second... Moss is about Moss and Moss only... I've seen the 'highlights' of him sitting on his ass on the bench and he's openly admitted to taking plays off... he's done it in two cities? he ain't going to change here.

Third... Our money can be used in other places... until we get our WRs playing to their potential, I wouldn't worry about bringing in another one.

Moss is undoubtedly a very talented receiver.....but he's the type who will take his toys and go home if he doesn't get his way. We have a lot of problems as it is, especially if Braylon continues to run his mouth... We don't need another me first receiver on this team....

If Moss were the last piece of the puzzle turning a Cleveland Wildcard team into a Superbowl Team, I might say "go for it" with a one year contract, but as it is right now....We are no way near being a "wildcard team"..... Soooooo..... Not only NO...but HELL NO....

Randy Moss is a talented guy. He's also a major, heavy duty cancer. No thanks. Last thing a bad team needs is another headcase.

When has Robiskie coached markable improvement in anyone?

We can say that ADavis, KJ and QM all had more success here than anywhere else but that also could be our weakness in depth too.

Second, we already have our trash-talking receiver in Edwards. No, no and NO!

How about we trade Robo to the Raiders than see if he "responds" to his coaching. It would be a win, win for us.

Randy Moss good fit in Cleveland?

A skin head good fit for leader of the NAACP?

Jay Leno a good fit for a small chin contest?

Quite honestly I think this thread is funny. Chris Carter say's that Moss would respond to Robiskie?! Granted Carter knows Moss quite well for his time that he spent in Minnesota but how can he make such an insane comment when it seems that our recievers haven't responded to Robiskie. And they aren't half the head case that Moss is.

And Trade?! Trade what? Well let's see, the Raiders need what?! Oline help and QB. Gee kind of sounds familiar don't you think. And Phil isn't the type to give draft picks away. Moss just isn't a good fit and Chris Carter needs to know the facts before he opens his mouth.

And the next head coach is ......

Moss is a self centered, ego driven, overly talented player with no sense of right and wrong.. At this point, he'd be a bigger headache than anything else.

Chris Carter can think and believe anything he wants,,, But in this case, he's wrong. JMO however!

We've got more than enough receivers in Cleveland right now. What we need is someone who can use them properly.

randy moss is a major NO NO for cleveland!! look at his attitude.. if the team isnt winning.. he's not going to try to play hard... he ADMITS to it!!

why would we want to bring a cancer like that into this organization??!!

i'd rather have T.O. than randy moss ANYDAY!! atleast TO plays hard!!

Moss? Yeah, that'd be good. BE needs some coaching in being a jerk.

I'm thinking he doesn't have the type of character that Romeo wants.

NO, double NO NO, and triple NO,NO,NO. Moss is a problem child. We don't need the bad attitude, we could use the talent that he posseses but he's not worth the risk. Not to mention how much money or draft picks it would cost to get him. Just not worth it. I'd puke if we picked him up.

Judging from what I've read in this thread it appears most people seem to dislike Moss. (I wonder why) I would guess that the front office feels the same way.

With all the BE quotes in the press,I think we're already going to end up with one problem child. Our own little TO/Meoss character in the locker room is enough for now. We have far more important things to invest in. As of now,our QB hardly ever has time to throw the deep route anyway.

Maybe once we build an OL,we can think about adopting another problem child.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

This is a bit of a tangent but related to other head cases that we have "considered / at least discussed"

I remember when Terry Glenn was let loose at NE at the end of 2001 .. I remember being in the distinct minority of people that wanted Glenn. I advocated "getting that guy" I remember being shouted down and being told that he was a locker room cancer and a head case.

My argument was that a change would be good for TG and he would blossom and produce. Can you imagine if we had taken TG?

Gawd imagine.. KW2, TG, BE and JJ. That set would be scary..

(And yes, I am deliberately leaving Cribbs and Dropcutt out)

Glenn calmed down only because of his coach. Pure and simple. And had we had Glenn we probably wouldn't have drafted BE or signed JJ. Just my take.

You can't put Moss and Glenn in the same category! Moss takes plays off, quits on his team and that is only the on-field stuff.

No way!

Randy Moss: good fit in Cleveland?

let's see....

1. Self-centered.
2. Anarchist.
3. Immune to teaching/coaching.
4. Unwillining to block/assume his role when plays are called elsewhere.
5. Plays "when it suits him."
6. ...and would command a very exhorbitant price for all the above.

Randy Moss: a good fit?
...maybe on Satan's team, perhaps. But not on mine.

Hear that whirring sound? -It's Paul Brown spinning at 33 1/3 rpm's in his grave.

When will we fans give up our love affair with all that's trendy, and get back to what really wins football games?

SPEND THE MONEY ON THE OL, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!

Randy Moss would do absolutely NOTHING good for this team.... and we'd waste every stinking dime we paid him for the 12 tumultuous months he'd be here. I pray that Savage is smarter than that.

Randy Moss: a good fit for Cleveland?

Six entries to his his list of crimes is shortened down... by a factor of 111- but it isn't a coincidence.

Check your Bible to see what I really mean.

end of rant,

I think I would be more inclined to give Braylon away to wherever RM ends up.

In short, absolutely no thank you.

And if we had gotten Glenn to insert into the aforementioned lineup,....what would the OL have looked like,....like today ?? So, still, no one would be "getting the ball,...."

They got rid of Bryant who is better at getting open than Moss (Moss has done nothing in Oakland, he can't get open - in Minny all he did was run under the ball) - Bryant is on his way to another 1000 yd season, with his zillionth QB in 3 years - a 2nd year guy nonetheless. They wouldn't even think of taking Moss, they want character guys.

NO and no. We need another receiver we cannot or will not throw to. We need a better receiver coach, we need a line, and no.
Browns, why are you doing this to such great fans. Win one!
