Is anyone watching this? They are doing a parody of We Are The World fiasco.

No, but its not surprising, the stuff makes for easy parody. I recall the original with Michael Jackson was often referred to as, "We Are the Weird".

Watch a little bit of the show last night after the opening segment. I do believe the writers may be in a bit of trouble. The more than pushed the envelope during their Olympic segment on Women's Curling.

They've done that sketch all year - with women's bowling from the 80's. Them throwing curling in there was an attempt to "stay current" probably.

That's the main problem with SNL right now IMO - they find a bit that's funny once or twice then beat it to death every week. Yes they've always done that but the material was better and the cast was better. How often can you throw out Vagisil jokes and stay funny?

Kristin Wiig, Bill Hader, Abby Elliot and Jason Sudekis are the only funny ones on the show IMO. And Weekend Update for the most part too.

Anything with Andy Samberg - especially his "video productions" - are a joke. Is he 12?

I don't really get into the modern day SNL, and Samberg IMO is a lot like Sandler was in his early days at SNL.

I did like this short though......"I THREW IT ON THE GROUND"
