Ref's feel free to move this. No, I'm not a realtor. Just wondering if this is foreshadowing of what's to come???

Here are the links for creditbility sake:

Good, this is Dereks team. Picking BQ was a desperation move by Savage----luckily we found a better QB on the Ravens PS and didn't get stuck with BQ stinking it up all through 2007 and 2008.

I'm hoping it just means he wants to sell his house. Part of me feels sorry for the guy. He wants to play for the Browns, he's a hometown guy, and it would seem he has potential to be good based on what he did in college, albeit vs. subpar competition. It seems like the whole trade BQ thing is Plain Dealer driven as we have not heard anything come out of Berea about them looking to trade him.

And by the way, I'm certain he can afford it. Don't forget about his EAS contract and I think Subway contract. I'm sure he owns the house outright.

Missed that. Probably a good idea being that his interest rate is probably low. He probably earns more interest on his investmensts, so probably a good financial move by financing it.

It's OUR team. Anderson just happens to be the QB.

I never was impressed with Brady coming out of college. Esepcially after he got whacked by LSU

Wait until the folks at the Plain Dealer catch wind of this. Let the speculation begin. My guess is that he will be traded. I don't see him selling the house for the sake of selling his house. If you don't have to sell, why try and sell when home values have dropped substantially. It would make sense to wait for the market to recover. JMO anyway.

I have to ask, are you that high on Anderson or just that low on Quinn? Please tell me you just feel that Anderson is the lesser of two evils at this point.

No, he just likes to interject his high wisdom any chance he can get. He'd post the same sentence in the middle of a thread about Taco Bell.

As for selling, it's a big house for 1 guy. Maybe he decided the big house and all that comes with it, isn't for him. Heck, if I was a 20 something bachelor with his cash, I'd have a nice condo pad.

I think that DA could be the guy, and he should be the guy over the next couple years as we aquire more talen and fill more holes.

I think BQ was a BAD pick, and a desperate reach on Phils part. However, its tough to blame him with our QB situation at the time and Charlie Weis' sell job.

I also think that benching DA last year a desperation move by RAC. His job was pretty much lost and he threw in the kid hoping to save his job. 70,000 chanting fans + the media may or may not have played a role.

Either way, I think Mangini knows DA is his best option right now. And I believe that Mangini will stick with him threw this season and quite possibly the next few seasons.

Quinn wasn't that great in college---and was plagued by an image that he couldn't get it done in the big game. The NFL is the big stage----and I don't believe he has what it takes. Several analysts have cited several Major flaws in his game and I don't believe that his skill set warrants any extended look.

I think DA has everything you look for in a QB and will grow with experience. I don't think 2007 was a "fluke." And I think he deserved all of 2008---he didn't get it, but I believe that he gets that chance this year and next.

Actually it's Randy Lerner's team. With a side helping of George Kokinis and Eric Mangini. We play 0 part in the equation.

I'm sure they will as this has nothing really to do with the game of football .......

Plus the fact that Quinn having his house for sale also means little, if anything except that he's selling his house. How long has the house been listed? Was he still starting when it was first listed? Besides ... people sell houses all the time .. even when they aren't moving out of town.

I got this info from another board who according to a realtor it went on the market today. Like I said feel free to move, I have nothing to gain from this. Just thought it was too coincidental.

You don't need a realtor to see that, the listing itself shows when it went up: Added on Oct 13, 2009 (8 hours ago)

But, as has been stated, this means absolutely nothing.

$10.5k on a $700k home isn't really all that bad ... it's only like 1.5%.

I wonder if this is something cooked up by him and his agent as a way to let the Browns know he wants traded without coming out and asking for it.....

Agreed. I feel sorry for him too. I'd like for him to be the one as well. I can't help but wonder if some of the guys we've had on this team just aren't good enough, or if our messed up organization is ruining these guys.

2) I'll be happy with 2nd.
3) I'd take a 3rd

Willie Green and Lee Suggs are working out together with Brady Quinn...

Reports are they are trying to start their own NFL team... The City and Team Name has not yet been announced.

It's DA's Team by default. Don't have any illusions that it is his team because he earned with his play.

I think that is what he was saying DA didn't earn it, he got it by default and only because the 3rd stringer was actually (somehow) still yet a worse choice.

Maybe he put it up for sale because we're going to trade DA and all of BQ's escalators will kick in.

See, there's two sides to every ridiculous story.
