Demon Souls...the new RPG out...........is very hard. I have played about 4 hours and haven't made it out of the tutorial yet. Also it's a scripted type game, with monsters are in the same place every time. It's not as free ranging as I expected (like say fallout 3), but I've barely started.
Can't say WHAT I think about it yet. Pretty cool, very hard.

Everything I have read about this game have said two things:
1) Insanely hard
2) Ingenious utilization of internet


I would have bought it but Uncharted 2 comes out Tuesday and I like treasure hunting games however, this is on my pickup list. I am really wanting to see how Dragon Age (bioware they made Knights of the old Republic and Mass effect) compares to Demon Souls and most likely pick the one that sounds best for me.

Yeah, I'm getting Uncharted 2 this week. I might pick up Demon souls later though. Well much later, I am about to finish Batman AA with a platnium trophy, I am getting Uncharted 2, just bought all of the expansions to Fallout 3 and I am lucky if I get two hours a day to play.

But Demon Souls looks really good to me. I am glad Atlus decided to get the publishing rights to bring it to the US.

It's a pretty addicting game. Super hard, but since your "souls" ie experience points stay where you were killed as a blood stain.........well you HAVE To go back try not to get killed again and go get them.

It's becoming more and more fun as I play it. The internet angle so far is annoying. People can leave hints (they are almost all very stupid), and you see thier "ghosts" roaming around which kind of sucks as they could be monsters.....and you have to be on your toes in this game. I have not had another player invade my game yet though.......that would be neat. I did have someone want to help solve a level, but I didn't want any help. (should have taken it I died quickly).
