It's that time again at Around The Corner in Lakewood, time for it's 35th anniversary party, which means..........nickel beer night!!!

This Thursday they'll have nickel beers (8 oz. cups of Genesee draft) and a complimentary buffet (which in years past has included shrimp, wings, taco's, etc) with The Breakfast Club (the hair metal guys that play the Muni Lot) at 9pm. This is my favorite afternoon/night of the year there. It's especially nice this year that I have off on Friday to sleep through the hot flashes and general malaise that are associated with drinking dozens of cups of Genny draft.

Christmas Ale on Friday and Saturday nights, culminated with a tailgate party with Kevin Mack on Sunday.
