Every year a team goes from worst to first. Last year, the big team was Atlanta. In fact, most had them rated as the worst team in the NFL. This year, what teams are positioned to make that leap? I really think it is Cleveland.
Therefore.... 10-6
Don't ask me to go through game-by-game; that's a fool's game as the schedule never matches what we expect at the start of the season. I just think we win at least 3 in the division and pick up the rest through a rather easy schedule, especially at the end of the season.

6-10, 7-9...Just show me that the culture here is changing!! Just smash some people in the mouth! Steelers didn't look great the other night but found a way to win...we need a team who is there at the end of every game. A team that can finish and a team that gives itself an opportunity when down. Sorry I mentioned that S team

You know what those teams have in common?? They all play in crappy divisions. This isn't a crappy division at all, and as a matter of fact is probably the best division in football. I see us making a big improvement (picked us at 9-7), but we aren't winning the division. There are 2 teams that played in the AFC championship game we have to overtake. I can see us getting the better of one, but not both.

Ok, here's mine...last years prediction was like a review book for the season...is it still up somewhere? I'd like to read that again...anyway: - I expect at least 7 wins...reasons: very easy schedule and 1st year new-HC overachieving (if they don't buy into the Mangini-plan the 1st year...we're doomed)...I accept less if the injury bug hits like last season....but I don't expect that since Mangini prepares his teams tougher than Romeo....that's a positive for those who say I don't see Mangini's good traits - I expect us to still struggle mightily rushing the passer...after all we didn't really upgrade there: Bowens instead of McG and Veikune for Bell, that's it....DL got some more rush with Moseley that will help a bit but won't be the solution - I expect us to be again too heavy and slow on D...we might still be the slowest D in the NFL...no athelticism whatsoever in the front 7...yeah Rogers is athletic compared to other NTs but the DEs, OLBs and ILBs are just tooooo slooooow...Veikune and Maiava fit the slooow mold....we need speed desperately on D...thus we will - struggle again defending the pass on intermediate routes (TEs, short WR-RB routes)...another groundhog moment that we didn't upgrade - our ST should be really good, Top 5 good...hey, there must be something good out of drafting slow overachievers...and Cribbs is Cribbs - Cribbs will contribute more on Offense...and it's the right thing to do - our rush D should look like last years...good at the beginning and folding late because they're tired and the D can't get off the field on 3rd down....part of the problem WILL remain the bend but dont break style - our Offense will be what I call a "mickey mouse" Offense = ball control/conservative...I don't like that all too much but it's probably the best with Quinn and esp. our other position players on it....the OL though was built more towards a riskeir/passing O....this plan is still in transition and expect us to struggle with it - toooo slooow at skill positions....we might have again the slowest group of TEs, WRs and RBs in the league....no under 4.5 speed ...don't get me wrong, speed is overrated on draft day, I know...but you need some to gameplan for, we simply will be easy to cover and gameplan for....Mangini selected Robo and Massa who dont complement each other and dont complement what we had at WR before...just more of the same...dont like it, observe it...we will miss speed

I noticed that, too. At least they aren't quite as high this season.

To be honest, I predicted a Super Bowl last year. But yeah, I'm still high this season, too.

Read mine from last year.......Maybe I'm not so bad at this predicting thing. At least I don't do it with rose colored lenses......

Last seasons prediction thread.
Haha, great thanks....that was me 1 year ago ...call me Nostradamus

Ok...here goes mine:
- we still wont know whos our franchise QB after this season as it still will be to early to tell with Quinn and DA still is Jekill/Hyde
- our DL rotation will look good given some time but we still lack a pass rusher opposite Wimbley whom opponents will again look to shut down...glimpses of Hall, McGin is too slow to be any good and Peek will end up injured again, IRed and we sign back Orr
- McDonald will be our #1 CB pretty fast because he´s just better than Wright, who will again struggle...fanbase will get Ralph Brown flashbacks while watching Adams, Daniels and Cousin out there....Adams will start and suck at FS, which will become a big time need next offseason...Pool is done, 3 concussions at age 24 = forget about him, wasnt any good anyway
- ST will look superb, Cribbs and Steptoe will lead the Browns to top 5 in ret-categories, Dawson´s gonna hit at least 85% and even some 50+, Zastudil will have a bounce back year now that he´s healthy again
- Lewis´production will drop off some but still be decent, down to 4.0 avg, about 1kyds and 2-3 missed games, Harrison/Wright will be just fine for spot duty
- OL will look good, decent depth...not as great as last year but that´s due to stronger opposing Ds
- our rec-corps will be fine, Rucker will show some promise once back healthy
- we will finish the season 7-9 or 8-8 and RAC´s on the hot seat again....how we, Mr.Lerner and some players (ie Edwards, Winslow) handle this step back despite having a better team will determine our future fate
- we will start off with 2 home losses because neither the Offense nor the Defense have had enough time to play together to beat 2 experienced and more prepared teams in DAL and PIT ...it even could get ugly....I´m talking about big time meltdown on national TV...we may only split 1 of the upcoming 2 (BAL+CIN) to start off 1-3...but we have the coaches and players to stay focused and we finish the season with some dignity and an acceptable record
- towards the end of the season or as soon as the offseason starts Braylon will bitch around and pull a light version of Ocho Chinco. We end up trading him to Philly for a nice return, while I hope we trade him straight up for Boldin and maybe a pick
