You LA Dawgs alright? Looks like you had a fun little 5.0.

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsww/Quakes/quakes_all.html

Felt it down here in SD, although it just kind of felt like someone was shaking the back of my chair. Didn't hear anything at all. Wife didn't even notice.

Just moved out to Santa Cruz, and haven't felt an earthquake yet. Still waiting to figure out what the first will feel like

I felt it out here in Riverside sitting here on my computer, my chair was shaking.

Is it bad that I think they are kinda cool?

it was a magnitude 3.0...there are hundreds of those a day, everywhere, they're way too weak to notice.

And the 12:53 AM was in UTC time, It lists:

# Monday, May 18, 2009 at 00:53:29 UTC
# Sunday, May 17, 2009 at 08:53:29 PM at epicenter

I live just outside of L.A. in Upland. I didn't feel a thing. My wife was upstairs, and she felt it. She said it didn't feel too bad. But yeah, I don't think its bad to like quakes. I kinda like them and it does seem to be earthquake weather.

Yep, felt it here in Oceanside.

A little concerning, but I do not live near a major fault line. So my first instict was to onto USGS and find out where it occured.

I have not been near a big one, a couple of years ago, I was very close to the epicenter of a 5.0, there was a strange need to leave the building.
