Download it with realplayer, you know it's only a matter of time before the NFL finds it.

Wow, wow and wow.

Dem's some great memories!

I wonder what Metcalf is up to these days.

We love Cribbs. He's different in his complete role but when people talk about Hester...Hester can't sniff what Metcalf was for the Kick and Punt return games of our old Browns.

Cribbs is exciting but he's just more different...not as explosive but more of a complete player though.

My wife and I went with a bunch of folks that used to hang out at a bar here in aurora.. We rented a bus and probably 30 or so of us piled in and off we went to that game against Pittsburgh when Metcalf ran those two back..

funniest thing aboiut that day was Bill Cowhers jaw...normally is pretty big and sticks out pretty far.. that day, it was on the ground..

Didn't the steelers fire thier ST coach at that season....LOL

What a great day that was... I witnessed history.

EDIT: I forgot about how much Eric Turner had to do iwth those runs.. his blocks were pretty nifty.

I wish I could see that game against the Bengals where Metcalf did kinda like a skiers move to get in the endzone... amazing guy..

Thanks Psydeffect!

I was just thinking of the left - right cuts he made against the Bengals when I was watching the first vid. That was a MNF game and I fell out of my chair when he did that. Good find!

I remember a game against the Oilers with Marc Trestman as our OC. The Oilers had a solid team and if I remember correctly Eric was have a great year, but our offense didn't bring much else to the table. Trestman called a host of gadget plays to take advantage of the Oilers D keying on Eric. I think Metcalf had at least one halfback pass and I think it went for a TD. I remember an interview of Warren Moon after that game where he was whining that we didn't deserve to win since we beat them with gadget plays.

If one uses IE, they can go to the "Temporary Internet Files" directory and the video will be there. It will be a file that is titled by the number that youtube assigns it or it will be called "getvideo". Copy this somewhere locally and add the ".flv" extension. VLC Media Player can play flash vid and will allow you to pause / play and utilize the progress bar to move to whatever part of a video that you wish. VLC now also can take screen caps if you want to produce still images of a vid. You can also keep copies of such videos with other browsers. Check it's cache.

You are probably correct about youtube taking down these videos. It is why I moved all my stuff to Blip.tv

Thanks again.

I didn't know that. Thanks for that bit of info.
