Braylon's attitude is far worse than Boldin's.

While both receivers are talented. Boldin has proven something year in and out that Braylon hasn't even come close to. He has proved consistent. I also just don't see him as having a me-first mentality. He made it no secret that he felt unappreciated by Arizona in the offseason. Arizona made it clear they weren't gonna give him a contract. So what did he do? He put up 1100 and 11 touchdowns in just 12 games. And came back early from both the fractured face and the hamstring injury in the playoffs. Meanwhile, Braylon lead the league in drops, proclaimed he 'led the team from darkness' last year, and to get back at fans he's decided not to do community service in the Cleveland area ever again. Go to braylonedwards.com The guy plays for himself.

"I led the team from darkness and made the pro-bowl, and no one cared." Man, he must have thrown himself those 17 touchdowns.

In times like these, Hal Lebovitz would remind us we didn't have a team for four years.

Boldin on Cards: relationship irreparableComment Email Print ESPN.com news services
Even if Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner decides to continue his playing career, it might not be enough for Anquan Boldin.

Boldin, a key member of the aerial attack that helped carry the Cardinals to a Super Bowl season, told ESPN's Rachel Nichols on Thursday at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii that regardless of what Warner does, the chances of him remaining with the team are "very slim."

Boldin, quoted in Friday's editions of USA Today, said: "I don't think the relationship can be repaired with the organization. It takes more than, 'Well, we did you wrong and we'll pay you this.' It's not about the money. It was always about the principle, guys being true to their word. I guess I was expected to uphold my end of the bargain, and it wasn't reciprocated."

Boldin still has two years left on his contract, but he's been at odds with the team over his deal for quite some time.

As Arizona prepared for Super Bowl XLIII against the Pittsburgh Steelers, team president Michael Bidwill said the organization has attempted to work with Boldin to restructure his contract and extend it. Fellow receiver Larry Fitzgerald even said he'd consider restructuring his deal if it would help Boldin remain with the team.

"We've been talking to them for two years, and they still haven't made anything happen," Boldin said, according to USA Today.

On the topic of whether he'd request a trade, Boldin said, "I'll deal with my agent [Drew Rosenhaus] and see what we have to do, but my feelings won't change."

USA Today said Rosenhaus declined to comment when contacted.

Boldin had 89 catches for 1,038 yards and 11 touchdowns last season.

"It's too key to our success to let Anquan go," Warner said, according to USA Today. "I don't know if I'm leaning either direction. But [Boldin's situation] is going to be a key piece to it, whether we can do something as a team like this year."

DA could step in and learn some more behind a Kurt Warner....and when he decides to call it quits he could take over....im not sold on leinart as a legit QB.....and right about now id take a pepsi and a brat at a game for stallworth so throw him in there just to fill the spot boldin would leave and i think they might just bite on it.....

Just another player represented by Rosenhouse that wants another big contract before its time.

Could this heighten a trade KW2 for Boldin movement. Somebody email Drew this possibility as the $$$ Ka-Ching bells go off in his head....Two Clients - Two new Teams - Two big Contracts. $$$...insert cartoon character whose eyeballs rotate like a slot machine stopping at $$ $$.

JMHSuggestion...Where is Soup with his penchant to email!

Getting into this thread late so I just scanned the above posts not reading in depth.

I just don't see the Cardinals trading him to us for BE straight up. Boldin has 2 years left on his contract whereas BE has 1. If the talent is considered equal then no way they make the trade. As for Trading Boldin for DA and Stallwoth, give me a break. No way that treade is made.

Not sure who the Cards would move up to get but if there is somebody they really want they might trade Boldin for our #5 overall. But again the contract differences between who the Cards would take at #5 vs #31 would go against us. Would you be willing to make that trade? I don't think I would. If they would trade Boldin and #31 I would consider it.

I wouldn't trade even up Boldin for #5...but I would do it for Boldin and their #31...and I would throw in DA for sh%^ and giggles too.....and if I was really feeling happy, I might just throw in Donte Stallworth while I'm at it...all though, having BE, Boldin, and Stallworth would be a pretty nice line-up....and still having K2.....good possibilities..... ...but by doing that, we had better score alot of points, cause our D would take a hit.....I suppose we could still get a decent player at 31...but not a Curry....
