Once again, THE Mount Union Purple Raiders have managed to go undefeated and win against Wisconsin White Water after being beaten by them last year in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl in Salem, VA.
I had the pleasure of watching it on ESPN2 and I have to say that once again they were impressive. The final score was alot closer than any of their season games. 31-26 and boy did they play well.
Any one else get to see this awesome game?
GO RAIDERS!!!
p.s. my daughter made the comment about the Raiders coaching staff.......Maybe the Browns next HC can take a few lessons from one of the best coaches to ever to grace a football field.

I've been a Mount Union fan for the last 4 years. Kmic is from a town about 18 miles away. I watched him play in highschool. Don't know his stats from this game, but the kid flat out gets it.

I used to go watch Mt Union play against my Baldwin-Wallace Yellow Jackets, and it was always a good time. They played tough.

He's had a great season and I wouldn't be surprised if he is invited to the Combines and is scouted heavily by an NFL team. Especially after what Pierre has done this season with Indy.

My wife and I have talked about that - sure, he's undersized, played D3 ball, but geez, the kid can run. Even as a freshman he had a 4 game streak where he got over 1000 yards! In the playoffs, no less.
I would love to see him get a chance at the nfl. I don't think he will though.............scouts go by where you played, how fast you run, how tall you are, what you weigh...........seems they only want to focus on the tangibles, and not the intangibles.
A friend of mine said, just last week "yeah, he's good, but he's playing against D3 defenses". My response? Yeah, and he's setting record after record with a D3 offense as well.
I hope he gets a shot, but I kinda doubt he will.

Thats' not always true. If you can play, the league has a tendency to find you.
Brian Westbrook played @ Villanova and doesn't have any of the size/ speed standards and he has made a pretty good career in the NFL.

I hope Kmic gets a shot. Why? for the simple reason that he's a local boy. I pull for all the guys around here, and always have, even in college. A guy from our school played at Army - I was an Army fan. Another that I played with did a heck of a job as a tackle at BG, got invited to the Giants training camp - got let go, too.
A kid from Wauseon is a freshman at Michigan - tackle. I know his family, as well as him. I wish him the best. In fact, I wish him more than the best. His family was involved in a car accident last Dec. 24th. His dad died, his girlfriend died, and his brother was paralyzed.
I can't say his name right now - rookie tight end for the Redskins, I like to see him do well.
All the "local" guys I root for. Some are more local than others, but hey
I hope Kmic gets a shot.

For me, once they play at Mount they are locals to me. I love hearing about these kids getting a shot. It also stems from the fact that my older brother (the one that looks like me) had an opportunity in the 80's to play for the Seahawks and turned it down. (don't want to get into why but let it suffice, why he didn't take the offer was a bit off because he could have made more of an impact as an NFL player than not)

He'll get a shot,...the NFL (Cleveland and Pittsburgh) gave RJ Bowers his shot. I believe that's whose record Nate broke.
