...is the Ravens' success. Grrr... Man, do I hate the Ravens. I wouldn't mind going 2-14 if we beat them twice. I also wouldn't mind if Joe Flacco exploded so I wouldn't have to hear about him anymore.

Face it....Flacco is a pretty good QB, and going 2-14 would suck even if we beat the Ravens twice.
I would rather go 14-2....losing to them twice.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

We should have built the defense first.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

We have only the play of the Cleveland Browns, and Art Modell to blame for all that hate.
I don't hate them; pretty strong word. I despise their success, but I did not create that problem. I despise that they play better football. Not trying to correct you, just voicing my own opinion of "hate."
No, we don't want Ray Lewis on our streets, but I'd love to have him and Ed Reed teaching and leading our young defense.

The absolute worst part is that one of our very own has built that team.

Assuming you're referring to Savage now, or the fact that Oz is still there ??

Dude, in case you forgot, the Ravens are the old Cleveland Browns. 60+ years of development compared to our 9 years. Don't eat what the NFL is trying to feed you. Yeah, we kept our colors, history, and name, but we lost what is obviously the most important element of all - the team!
Look at the Ravens since 1999. Then look at the Browns. - That's what we lost, and it is going to take a lot of time to get this thing to a point where we can win consistently year in and year out.
Every time you think of Bernie, Jim Brown, Otto Graham, Clay Mathews, Webster Slaughter, Marty Schottenheimer, Paul Brown, - Look at the Ravens because that is the franchise that profited from the contributions of all of those great players/coaches. - The city of Cleveland created it, supported it, paid for it, but the city of Baltimore has benefitted from it since 1996.

Join the here and now. It no longer takes 10+ years to develop championship teams. Besides,I don't have 60 more years to wait.

The most recent expansion team to win the Superbowl was the Tampa Bay Bucs. - It took them almost 30 years from their inception. The Jaguars have never been to a Superbowl, neither have the Texans, and the Panthers went and lost. - We may be the called the Cleveland Browns but all we are is an expansion team. We may be good here and there, but, to get to the level we were at prior to Modell moving us to Baltimore is going to take quite some time. Look at who runs the Ravens, look at some of the front office people. Thats our old team dude, and they play like our old team did.

I hate the Ravens, but I hate the Steelers even more.
And the Steelers have success basically every year, so when I see their fans or that dumb ass grin on Hines Ward's face, I want to punch them.
Just to give you an idea about how much I hate them and their fans.

Isn't there another team that has never been to a SB?
I'm old and dying,my memory is failing, but for the life of me I don't remember all this past great success you speak of.Oh yes,1964.That was 44 years ago,I don't seem to recall squat since then.

No bro. The team that won the NFL Championship in Cleveland in 1964 won the Superbowl in 2000.

What! It really demonstrats the sad sad state of the Browns fanbase. So starved for any type of success that some of us can stake a claim to fame for a Ravens victory. I truely feel sorry for you.I wish the Browns can someday win a championship, not for me,but to pull you out of this depression you're in. In the meantime,I'm sure there are many good mental health care professionals in your area, you should seek one out.

Don't forget the Panthers, Jaguars and Texans....they haven't been around that long, but haven't been to the promised land either.

I don't think anyone from are division is winning the superbowl this year. I know a team can get hot but I just don't see it. The Browns are not far off. I mean look at our losses: Sun 9/7 Dallas L 10-28 *********************Blow Out Sun 9/14 Pittsburgh L 6-10 ****************Close Game Sun 9/21 at Baltimore L 10-28 ************Winning at Half time. Sun 10/19 at Washington L 11-14 *********Missed last second feild goal Sun 11/2 Baltimore L 27-37 ****************Had a 14 point lead Thu 11/6 Denver L 30-34 ********************Had a 13 point lead Besides the Dallas game we were in every game! We need to focus on the D-Fense this offseason and we will be good. I know I'm tired of "Next Year" also. As for Baltimore, I still hate Pittsburgh more. Now that Modell is gone I could care less about Baltimore. If we are going 2-14 in a season, we better be 2-0 against the Steelers. FUN FACT: Tim Couch is the only Cleveland QB to beat the Steelers since 1999!!!!
