I'm frustrated too.

I'm frustrated but I also am starting to have a strange feeling...like I don't really want to watch as long as RAC is the head coach. I feel like my team is being held hostage by an idiot.

The one thing that would get me excited again would be to find a new person to man the helm. I'd love to see a switch to Marty Schottenheimer or really anyone that has an ounce of competancy.

If we get to 1-6, which I fully expect, I may take the rest of the season off and see how it feels not to follow football for a couple months.

I'm still 100% Browns fan from top to bottom. I wear my jerseys and my hats on Fridays and Sundays. With that being said...we suck.

I'm starting to watch the NFL like I watch college, more for the players and less for the teams (mainly because I hate the travesty known as the BCS). I'll never miss a Browns game, but this season is just depressing.

No offense to you when I say this, but that's not a real fan. I have a friend who says the same crap, and I haven't really talked to him since the Steelers game. It annoys the living hell out of me.

How does your pops feel this morning?

hey look, were all frustrated. I understand his motive b/c your dad has been a fan much longer than me and this team will rip your heart out and tap dance on it So many times I have said "I am SO SICK of this *bleep*" but I will never give up on the Browns b/c it's in me somewhere so deep it won't ever get out.
It sucks b/c so many of us have gotten our passion for the Browns from our fathers, and to have the guy who turned you onto the Browns quits on you I am sure it hurts a lil.

Like I said I am sure last night could have made him look at things a little different.

Oh and DieHard... I know you feel a void in your relationship with your Dad right now... so find something else to fill the void, go fishing, take up golf, build a deck... he's your father, the Browns are a football team... I'm sure you are smart enough to know the difference.

You know, I was going to make a response in this thread. But I couldn't have said this any better myself.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I went out and watch the game with some friends at the winking lizard. Wow it was a hell of a time. I love it when you see strangers high fiving and hugging.

My dad stayed home and he said he went to bed at half time. My mom even was flipping back and forth she said and she hates football.

Id have to think he would be back but just like it took him a long time of frustration to give up, it will take more then 1 big win to get him back.

BAH. Just because you and your dad still watch games together means everyone else should? The fact is people change, times change, as do interests. I can see a point in my life were I won't give a damn about football, it's starting to happen now with the arrests, the drug abuse, the dances after making a stop or TD. There is way more to life then just a game, and if I needed I could easily stop watching the Browns if something of true value was on the line.

Yes...because in my post I clearly stated that because my dad and I still watch games the rest of the world should. I said that we DO watch games. It was more of a "this too shall pass kind of thing."

I'm glad you just clicked on my post after skimming though!

no offense, but i can't stand people that renounce their allegience to a particular team...

look folks, you are stuck with the team you root for, like it or not.

I find it odd that we live in a nation with a 50% divorce rate.. where, if your spouse (the one you promised to love forever and possibly the one with whom you have children) let's you down ONE TIME, many people are completely in agreement that you need a divorce so you can move on with your life and be happy... but if your football team disappoints you for decades, you are a whiner and a loser if you walk away from them and you should suck it up and go on in misery for as long as it takes....

Nice priorities we have...

My thoughts EXACTLY!
