USC has 75 yards on offense
Oregon states runningback has more yards by himself. They just cant seem to find the little guy and when they do they cant tackle him.

I'll tell you what, this game shows how poor our defensive and offensive lines were for the Buckeyes.

They do this every year..

This game will prolly end up being close, but my gosh, USC just should not have this happen, yet it does year after year. They always have one game in the PAC 10 where they just don't show up against a far inferior opponent..

Just ridiculous....

Wow, I watched Around the Horn to day and all those guys were calling for a blowout by USC.

Oregon State has beaten USC twice in the last 3 times USC has been in Corvallis. IIRC the one time USC has one in that streak they had to come back to do it.

somebody wake up Tressel and the rest of his staff....he should be taking notes on this. Oregon St is running the ball well and throwing it too, mixing things up. Meanwhile, the Defense is aggressive and keeping SC from gaining big chunks. Very impressive, and from a 1-2 team.

I can't believe the score lol..21-0!! wooo OSU over USC! too bad it's the other OSU...*sigh*

So if Oregon St wins does this mean USC is overrated? what does it mean?

21-14 wow....now I really want Tressel awake. 2nd half adjustments made in the locker room resulting in two pretty quick scores for SC. Whoda thought that halftime was for making changes to try and get back in the game?

newsflash....we already look bad. every football fan outside the state of Ohio laughs in our general direction.....and I can think of no comebacks any more. I hope SC loses, cuz' they have the most fake fans in the entire nation.

I don't agree. It would be different if it was another team. WIth the way the USC has had to fight against Oregon State in the past it doesn't make tOSU look bad at all, imho.

Then a 50 yard KO from USC

and a TD 27-21

and Oregon State gets the onside KO!!!!

Hopefully DA will find some inspiration in his alma mater and have a heck of a game this weekend.

So much for being the most talented team ever to take the field in college football...seems to be the case every year with USC. Can't say I'm not enjoying this. Pretty much clears the way for Mizzou or OU.

I'd say this game has no bearing on Ohio State. That would be like saying Stanford must be one of the greatest teams in the country for beating Oregon State. I still think USC is probably the most talented team...just didn't come to play tonight.

The Worst Part is Rey Maualuga got hurt...I am wondering if it ACL/MCL or a sprain or something...It looked knee related.

Clay Jr. Still didn't look bad...

kinda makes you think what the buckeyes could do in a rematch if they play in the rose bowl. last week I still thought the bucks would get killed, but if proyor gets some experience, along with a healthy wells, I think we could give sc a better game, if not beat them. I mean the beavers back was no more than 165lbs and gained close to 200 yards. what would beanie do to that defense.?

Hardly in my mind. Oregon State has USC's number in Corvallis - 4 years ago barely lost, 2 years ago won, won this year all against heavily favored USC. USC just doesn't do well in Corvallis.

Except we weren't overrated after how everyone saw us play the first couple of weeks.

More than anything, it's a home-field advantage thing. USC has more talent than we do, but they aren't truly that great. They were ran over by the Beavers.

I think if USC came to Columbus in December it'd be a toss up.

in my mind its not so much a talent issue as much as its a game plan issue. Mualeuga, lets just call him #58, said the Buckeyes did nothing that they hadn't watched on film. That's how he so easily jumped the route and raced down the sidelines with a Boeckman pass.
The unimaginitive, predictable offense of OSU leads to these routs in the big games, along with a fall back in a zone and get picked apart Defense. Talent-wise, the Bucks can hang with anyone, they just need to prove it.

Surprised to see the Beavers rip the Trojans like that.

Where is DC at???

Just a little reminder... An exchange from a few days ago,,,

"Problem is Pete and his squads have lost more games than they should in the PAC 10... PC will be the first to admitt that... The reasons are USC has huge targets every week, most games are rivalry games and the conference is nearly always better than people give it credit for..."

I'm right here.. I guess I overestimated USC. No trickery involved last night, they just got carved up.

Well now it's time for stage 2 of the college game....stage 2 is when all the announcers now start saying USC shouldnt fall due to the strenght of thier schedule...Ohio St. Loses and we tumble out of the top 10, USC loses and they might fall to # 3 or # 4.

college football is a great game but the media screws it all up and takes all the fun out of it,

Strength of Schedule? You mean a conference schedule that currently includes zero teams in the top 25?
