Just listening to the game but sounds like the refs are really influencing this game. Are there really that many penalties? And I am not talking against OSU only. There are a lot against USC as well.

Penalties killed us there. Up to that point, the offensive playcalling was atrocious. Some of the calls just made me scream at the TV. At least that drive we didn't run the same plays twice in a row, and throw passes under five yards. So there's a glimmer of hope for me the coaching staff will get it together.

They seem not to be calling holding penalties on USC whatsoever, but they're throwing the kitchen sink at us.
I admit some of those calls were well deserved, but some are just plain questionable.

McKnight is just too much for OSU's slow defense. 2nd and 20 and he picks up 18, unreal. If this keeps up, USC will score 50 points. The Buckeyes will probably drop out of the top 10 but we should still be good to go to the Rose Bowl. I think?

Refs don't have anything to do with it. OSU isn't playing disciplined, and the playcalling sucks at times.
