Good for him, truly... but I hope noone views this with too much hindsight. We did the right thing for the time.

It only took him to his 5th season to develop. We drafted him in '04 and cut him before the start of the '06 season. He was out of football all of '06 and was signed by Buffalo in '07. He didn't make his first career start until the last week of that year. He was a special teamer. He has played one game this year.

He's reportedly doing well, but it would be absurd for anyone to think that we should have waited and developed him for FIVE years.

Browns is the Browns

... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

Peen, did you notice that Wimbley had a sack and generally played well on sunday? Just wondering

He didn't have a sack

http://www.nfl.com/teams/clevelandbrowns/statistics?team=CLE

He made 4 tackles in the game.

Like I said....must be a 5 year plan.

The sack was negated by an illegal hands to the face penalty. So statistically it never happened, but it did.

It was good to see pressure on that play. To bad the only time we sacked romo we had a stupid penalty on the outside.
