I don't know his health, but I sure wish they would go out and sign Keenan McCardell, it'd be nice to have an old Brown back on the new Browns and this may be their last chance.
Not for that reason though but because I believe he would give them a better chance to win.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

McCardell is 38 years old,,, as much as I liked him when he was here, you have to remember, that was in the early to mid 90's.. well over 13 years ago.
I know I may get booed for this, but I'd rather see some younger guys get thier chance... but that's just me.

I bet Keyshawn Johnson would come out of retirment to play for RAC, he's a Bill Parcels guy.
I am of course totally kidding...

J/C.
I would prefer they take a look at Joe Horn. That could be a pretty good set of receivers. Edwards, Stallworth, Horn and when healthy JJ. And Winslow?!
And the next head coach is ......

O 4real??? Dante is #2??
Even if he weren't, Sanders has no shot at being #2.
So you're wrong.
Just thought i would bump this one back out.
Oo and for a sidenote, whoever messaged me with the note saying Donte would hurt his vagina before opening day and find a way not to play. they were correct.

He's still not #2, and if Cribbs plays he will be #4, or #5 if Stallworth is healthy.
you had a good run Hank.

All I know is that 3/4's of the way through camp, we looked to be absolutely STACKED at WR, and now we can barely find the ability to put an acceptable 3-WR set on the field.
We gotta get Cribbs, Stallworth and JJ back. A WR corps of Braylon, Steptoe & Sanders just isn't going to get the job done for us.

In the short term, I would put Winslow outside and Heiden at TE.
Winslow and Heiden are better than Winslow and Steptoe or Sanders.

I do not quite understand why RAC or Winslow himself have not converted KW over to the slot postion. He has great hands not much a a blocker as far as TE's go. And I do not think there is a LB in the league that can cover him. JMHO, But I am sure I am not the first to have said this.
Einstein could not even fathom the mathematical improbabilities of the Browns woes.

Winslow does line up in the slot from time to time, but to convert him permanently would be foolish.
Part of what makes him dangerous is that he can be anywhere on any play.

Exactly, because he's much more valuable as a TE than as a receiver.
Which is why I think Joe Horn would be a great pickup for us right now.
Horn would be an excellent 3rd receiver, and if this Stallworth injury lingers, Horn would be a nice number 2. JMHO

Hubbard draws interest from another team
Hubbard back: Sixth-round draft pick Paul Hubbard of Wisconsin was re-signed to the practice squad Tuesday. The Browns also added running back Allen Patrick to the practice squad and waived running back Omar Cuff.
Hubbard said, however, that he's drawn interest from another team and could sign elsewhere this week. He declined to say which team.
"I would be excited about a new opportunity, but a little bit disappointed to leave the Browns," he said.
**Insert clever signature here attributed to some historical figure that sounds interesting but has been taken completely out of context.

I have a hard time believing that RAC said he didn't have time to look at someone that could upgrade his team. I have an even harder time believing he told Savage no. I'll make some calls in the next couple of days, but very few people would be pirvvy to such information.

Stallworth...what can you say? Came to camp hurt, did nothing noteable in preseason, and hurts himself warming up for the opener....wow, what a contributor! Stallworth hasn't been a factor, and i doubt he ever will. I doubt he was a big factor in the game plan, nor will he be until he can stay on the field.

Yeah I heard your theory but I don't believe that conversation between Romeo and Phil to be feasible. And if it did, I don't think any of us would know about it.
