Anyone get this today? Curious as to how good it is?

How are the graphics? This year vs. last? Gameplay? Etc.

Id like to hear from anyone who gets for the Wii.

I buy all my sports games on the 360 (NCAA, Maddenn, MLB2K, ) But was thinking about buying this for the Wii instead of the 360.

I haven't played 09 yet but after playing last years on the Wii I will never play another golf game on anything but. It was great and very addictive.

Nice, thats what I was thinking, golf on the Wii was a lot more appealing to me.

If you ACTUALLY play golf then playing the game on the Wii might not be that great of an idea.

I developed a enormous snap hook after playing that game

It is a fun game though, that's for sure.

Yeah, the swing mechanics were definitely way off when I played it. You basically had to approach every club like it was a putter and go with a short, quick stroke straight back and straight through. If you tried to use a full swing (or follow through) the ball went all over the place......and no, it wasn't me. I'm a 7 handicap and couldn't hit a shot straight, with a full swing. on the Wii if my life depended on it.

There's your problem, you're too good of a golfer. I am a crappy golfer yet I have no problem with TW08 for the Wii. You just need to be a crappy golfer I guess.

Seriously, I love the 08 version so I probably wont get 09 but curious to hear how it plays. I do not have trouble controlling the shots on 08 as most of mine go straight. When I try to hit a monster shot and really swing as hard as I can, they I push it to the right. Otherwise a normal smooth full swing and the ball is nice and straight.

Signing Steinbach - $49.5 million
Signing Lewis - $5 million
Drafting Joe Thomas and Brady Quinn - millions more
Restoring the Browns to champions - priceless.

The Wiimote controller is InfraRed based... so if you go into a full backswing, it can't be detected.
Also, your follow-through on a real swing would not likely be straight in a line at the Sensor bar, it will see it as travelling in an arc and then translate that into a not-straight hit.

Browns is the Browns

... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
