I don't know why I didn't expect this movie to be as good as it is.

I guess it's because it took a long time for Zoolander and Dodgeball to grow on me.

Tropic Thunder is in that vein of ridiculous lampoon. But what makes it great is its sincerity.

The flick is at once the story being told, the fictional making of that story, and the overall reality of these guys being mega celebrities making a motion picture. It's like the action is real and unreal and it makes for a great mix.

Me and my boys are very much into pictures- in fact, Tropic Thunder appeals to that me at age twelve sneaking viewings of Predator and Bloodsport with my uncle. And if you were into idea rich Ben Stiller and Will Ferrell type pictures then you'll get a a kick in the ribs from this one.

The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, .
