Thursday, Aug 7th, marks the start of Browns football again.
The team dresses in it's 'Sundy Go To Meetings' duds and plays the J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets. What say we dress along with them?!?
We had a season to be proud of last year. We have a lot to be hopeful of this year. Phil got us some beef for the DL. The O has the horses up front. We're gonna be a team on Prime Time a lot this year!
I'm gonna wear my # 17 Edwards jersey (the one DevilDawg procured for me) in honor of the occasion. Maybe you can't get away with wearing a Browns jersey at work....but you can wear your orange shirt, or your orange tie. What, you don't have one? Well get out that ol' plastic and slide deeper in debt.
Remeber the years when we didn't have a team? Nobody to root for...no reason to wear a jersey...
Well, we got a damn good reason now!

 You don't wear orange and brown all year?? I've been wearing Browns stuff more the past few weeks in anticipation of the season and have noticed others doing the same.

3/4 of my wardrobe is Browns stuff.
I would wear it to funerals and weddings if I could get away with it.
Might have to get a little more in bigger sizes before to long.Gained some weight when I stopped smoking.Been smoke free since Feb 2nd.

I have been wearing my Browns shirts to work for the past ten years....maybe more! No reason to stop now.

 Oddly, my closet is rather baron of orange. But a couple of weeks ago I had a 30% off coupon for Kohls and picked up a nice orange collard jersey. My son says I look like a fag in it....but what does a Pat's fan know?  I'd wear my VETTEDAWG double zero brown Browns jersey....but I wouldn't want anything to happen to that baby!

Congrats on quitting smoking Harely! I quit several March's ago. (March 1st - don't remember the year). There's something about the air in my closet. Must be too hot or something 'cuz clothing shrinks in there. Go Browns! I'm getting more psyched by the minute.

Congrats on quitting! I bet buying a little bigger clothing is worth being smoke free. I plan on quitting once I change jobs. Right now I NEED a smoke at work. Too much stress.
As for the OP,,I would love to dress in Browns gear Thurs. However, our dress down days are Fridays. The branch manager is strict about that so there is nothing I can do. Friday I'll wear my jersey to work to celebrate a win!

2. Nascar
3. Hunting / Fishing shirts.

That's pretty much it. Must be a NW Ohio thing.

well first of all, there is no way I could get away with it on a Thursday, Friday, sure.
Second, I am volunteering at the Columbus Children Theatre tomorrow. We are renovating their building.

umm...they're not playing on Friday.
I know that Friday is the customary 'dress down' day (if you're allowed to have one at all).....but you can wear your orange shirt, orange tie (or a brown one if ya don't have orange).

Well, I wore my tan golf slacks. A tan, crew collar, golf shirt under my brown #17 Edwards mesh Browns jersey. One of the new people said to me "Oh, you went to Brown?" (university) The Chief Operating Officer said "Man, that's gotta be the worst looking jersey I've ever seen." So, I said, "Are you kidding me?! You're a Ravens fan. What's worse than that purple and white 'get up' that you guys wear?" He said, "I'll give ya that." 'Twas a relatively fun day at work. Now for a good showing from all of our guys tonight!
