Well needless to say it rattled me a bit at the time...i was like a stunned mullet for a while but i'm cool.
Just couldn't believe what i saw at the time.
Did a bit of research earlier, we get one jumper every 3 weeks on average on the
Westgate Bridge. It happens so often that it doesn't even make the news here...i guess they don't want to make it look glamorous or summat.
There was one several weeks back, a woman in her late twenties jumped off with her 18 mth old daughter in her arms.
Surprising that i haven't seen more to be honest, i drive that bridge most days.
Looking at that picture on the link i posted, this kid would have jumped off on the far right of the piccy about a third of the way up....i don't think he was anywhere near the water....feel sorry for the people who gotta clean him up.
