I had no idea that Stone Cold was a manager? Gotta love the side to side head bob, the throwing of the shoe and the "poison arm pit"...haha

Check out the one of Phil Wellman, manager for the Greenville Braves during a game here in Chattanooga a couple of years back.

It is linked at the bottom of your vid

I've seen that one before. Seems like one of these managers are good for at least one epic meltdown a season to keep us amused.

I think they're going to start okaying tranquilizer darts and recovery teams for some of these minor league managers.

Running out and simply arguing is one thing....but these idiots are way over the line! And they only get a 2-day suspension for their actions? What's to stop them or any other manager from doing the same crap? They should be fired, plain and simple.

I got no problem with this...especially if it actually gets people to go to minor league ball games.

If that's how you sell a trip to the ballpark, I'm not buying. I would think most parents would agree.

Like I said, having the manager argue with the umpires in dramatic fashion is part of the "theater of baseball." However, shoving your stinky shoe or armpit in the umps face and dancing around like a lunatic throwing fake grenades is far too crazy. I can even accept a thrown bat/3rd base from time to time.

I think it's freaking hilarious. The shoe/armpit thing was a bit over the top but still made me laugh. The grenade/army crawl tantrum made me almost choke it was so funny. Keep 'em comin.

My favorite was umpire Nestor Chylak turning on his heels and doing a Groucho Marx walk away from the arguement while an enraged manager followed in hot pursuit.

Couldn't agree more.

The dude's a grown man - and he shoves his shoe in another mans face; then sticks his armpit in his face. Maybe next time out he can spit on him and then rub an old jockstrap on him - by God that'll show em!!!

Argueing is part of the game - this kind of crap is not.

If some jagoff does this in day to day life to you - they get hit. It's that simple. If the ump had hit him I'd have found it completely acceptable.
