Yup, App. is #1, but it problably will not last long. We play LSU (on national TV) to start the season off then two weeks later we travel to James Madison. JMU also has revenge on their mind as we got extremely lucky in knocking them out of the playoffs last yr.

Again, I know most don't give a damn, but I know a few on here do follow some schools, Citadel, Youngstown ST., and Montana come to mind, and I beleive peeny follows I-AA as well.

Plus, it's SLLLOOOOWWWW football time.

I saw the title, saw who posted and then thought... "Hmmmm, I wonder who is #1"...

Good luck to App State this year, go beat LSU and get that "fluke" talk to die down.

Interesting...on a Random Montana note, we had a wildfire here yesterday that got awfully close to the stadium that is being renovated for more seats. Luckily it never got too out of control because a lot of our firefighters are helping out in Cali right now. They called back two of the helicopters today to give us three total and they have pretty much put it out now. It was 300 acres as of this morning but probably spread to about 400 now.

Thanks Candyman, but 4 in a row is going to be REAL tough. Plus I don't think we can sneak up on LSU this yr., national television and all .

Con, what's up with Montana, they are usually a pretty constant top 10, did you guys lose alot this yr. or something? sorry, didn't see them at #5, glad to hear that the stadium is OK.

and DC, well, I guess I am a little biased , after all......I did spend 6 of the most wonderfull yrs. of my life getting a 4 yr. degree in Boone, NC, plus I met my wife there.

Yep, they are there

Man, that would have sucked. They poured a few million dollars on expansion only to have it burned down by an 8 and 9 year old messing with a lighter. I guess the final count was 450 acres on the side of the mountain next to the stadium. Luckily they were able to keep it fairly contained to just a grass fire and worked their butts off to keep it away from the forested areas.

I actually find that insulting...from now on, you can call me Your Honor, or Sir.

Well ok....Peen works.

The Southern Conference is well represented.

Now if these people in Chattanooga would get their heads out of their butts, there is no reason why we couldn't be on that list.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

First to Peen, I mean Sir......er, Your Honor.......oh hell, how about ....

Your honorable sir Peen.

It seems like the Mocs can always score pionts, but they NEVER seem to find a defense.

337, there has been talk of moving up, but most don't seem to think it will happen. TO much money involved and we seem to be doing alright were we are. The only way that it has been mentioned as a possiblity is that if one of the bigger conferences would promise a spot in their league after so many yrs. in a smaller one like the MAC. Say for example the ACC says that after 3 yrs. in the MAC we let you in to take DUKES place as they step down to I-AA. I just don't see that happening.
