Me and my buddy are headed up next weekend. We've never been and are driving up from North Carolina. What should we see? Where should we stay?

I've always heard about compted rooms if you gamble enoug. has this ever happened to anyone? Am I just deluding myself into thinking that my $300 gambling budget will earn us a free place to stay?

Let me know any thoughts. Thanks.

Never been there, almost surely never will. My guess is a $300 gambling budget will not earn you a comp'ed room. Pretty sure of it, but, like I said, I've never been there.

It's my guess you'd have to add a couple of zeros to that $300 to get a comped room. But I don't gamble so it's only a guess.

Yes you're gonna need to front a lot more than 300 dollars. Remember it's summertime and you're in season now. I've been there both summer and winter and it's by far more packed now with people(as to be expected). 300 gambling dollars really doesn't go that far with the Hotel Gods these days. Good luck with your trip.

A room for one night at The Borgata is $400. I don't think your $300 gambling budget will impress them too much.

Stay at a motel outside of the boardwalk. You'll be able to pay for your room, and still have a $200 gambling budget.

Good luck.
