I don't know if we will get swept, but we are cooked.

I have a feeling we will go down in 5.
I think I have found a good solution when the Cavs start to SUCK on the court. Run 3 miles. I feel a lot better now but my calves sure don't (LOL PUN).

Too bad as it looked like a decent team in the playoffs.
It's all about LeBron. If he's not ready to play, just turn the TV off and do something else.

WILD! Whats up brotha?
I'm glad I was at work for this one. The highlights were just on and I flipped it back to NFL Net. Ugly. Game one is going to bite us right in the ass, however, nothing is over yet. Boston sucks on the road and we come home. We somehow get the next 2 I think it can still happen! ATL did it,,it can be done! GO CAVS!
Our honor defend, we will fight to the end, for OHIO! GO BUCKS!

So in free agency is there a valid scorer to get via free agency? Or a true PG? Solid scoring PF? Shooting Guard? ANYTHING?

Call me a pessimist , but IMHO the Cavs are Not as Good as last year when we came back from 2 down to win 4 straight against the Pistons....I have been saying ALL season that last year was a fluke....The Cavs will Not return to the NBA Finals let alone win a NBA Title without 2 key factors : ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1)....We Must Acquire Another Stud To Take The Pressure Off Lebron....
2)....We Must Upgrade The Talent On Our Bench..... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IF we fail to do so , while we might continue to reach the NBA Playoffs , an NBA will Not be in our future....The sad part about this is that under any other circumstances having a annual Playoff contender in C-Town would be Great news....However , when your team is fortunate(Bad) enough to have acquired argueably the Best Player In The NBA(Who happens to be a Hometown guy) and you fail as a franchise to win a title that 's as they say Priceless....** The Good thing is that we still have time to get the job done , I just do Not believe that it will happen this season....

Bibby is what Cleveland needed. It made Atlanta a team, it took the pressure of scoring off Joe Johnson....can you imagine what it wouldve done for LeBron? I think they dropped the ball there. They couldve given up more than they were willing to, to accomodate the Kings wants and theyda been way better off.
About Boston...Thing is...they are that good. I understand playoff ball is different. But look at Boston at home. 6-0 in the playoffs and 35-6 in the regular season. On the road, theyre 31-13...0-3 in the playoffs, but it was Atlanta who runs and runs and runs and caught em.
Their defense...while it may not look smothering like those of Detroit and San Antonio, and those teams, what it is...is fundamentally sound. They dont let you do the things you do well. And thats it...and thats that.
For a team that supposedly doesnt play that good of defense, the Cavs havent shot over 40% and havent scored 75 yet. I understand LeBron is off...but look at the comments, of course he's frustrated, and he's way off his game right now. They arent letting him do the things he's used to doing. and thats because of his defense.
Also...going back to the earlier thread...Boston's bench is worse? They outscored the Cavs in the 2nd and 3rd quarter. Boston's bench did. In fact, Boston's bench outscored its own starters in the 2nd.
Boston is a sound team. Nothing spectacular, but they absolutely will not beat themselves. The Hawks came out and beat Boston, simple as that. The Cavs havent done that, theyve played into Bostons hands, and beaten themselves. Just ike they want.
Play their game, and let the other team self-destruct, because they cant play their game.
Boston can win the championship. The only team that scares me is New Orleans. I dont think we have a counter to Chris Paul

I told everyone at work it would be a sweep for the Celtics.....most responded that the Cavs would lose, but would take it to 6 games.
Hell, the Cavs may not even bother to show up for Game #4 and just forfeit the series if Game #3 is anything like last night. What an abomination.

Cavs might win one. I doubt that they manage more than that. Especially since I would imagine the Celtics will feel the need to prove the Atlanta series was a fluke.

It's gonna be an intresting off season for the Cav's.....Which after last night, might start sooner than expected.
I hope the FO dosen't look at the current roster after the last trade & think they have what it takes to win a championship...The all they need is time to play together excuse isnt gonna cut it. I'm not a big B-Ball fan so not gonna add who should stay or go, as my opinons are from just a handfull of Cavs games,

Until someone proves otherwise, LA looks about as unbeatable as a team can look. They steamrolled a 50 win Denver team in round one (4-0) and are just toying with the Jazz (54-28), averaging 115 PPG.
I don't see how anyone is going to beat them in a 7 game series if they continue to play the way they have (New Orleans included). They're +12 in per game scoring differential and they're doing it, against 50 win teams, like it's nothing.

It's always better to split the first 2 games...but man there is a lot of doom and gloom here.
SA got blown out of both the first 2 games of their series. They went home and handled NO there pretty soundly last night. That's just how the NBA works sometimes. If they win game4, then the series starts over as a best of 3.
We need to do the same. Simple as that. Until we lose a game at home, there is no reason to panic. Frustration and disappointment is expected, but no reason to panic.

Boston can win it all... They just might... They have to prove to themselves that they can win one playoff game, per series on the road. I've been a Boston fan since the early 60's almost as long as I've been a Browns fan. Good points on the Lalalands's... They are clicking big time right now. Uncle Phil is one of the best ever... LA struggles with physical defensive teams always have... Denver doesn't D up and the Jazz are over-rated and don't play for 60 minutes like they used too. Boston and Detroit would be tough on LA... LA getting past NO is going to be very tough. Not impossible but tough. A Boston vs. LA final would be sweet... A Cavs vs, NO series would be sweet too... Good luck to all of you Cavs fans! You should be very proud of your team...

the lakers look sick...
gasol has turned out to be a perfect 4-man for phil's triangle...
i fell asleep in the 4th quarter, and haven't read any of the comments behind yours, but i really don't think i want to... i'm sure people already have the usual up, the cavs are bad, mike brown sucks, lebron is going to leave, etc...
i just wanted to know why devin brown wasn't used yesterday... we turned into a jump shooting team...
i know boston's defense is good, but detroit's is just as good, and we were able to play with them...
i do think the cavs will get back into this series, they've gotta get back to boston 2-2, where they can try and steal one in boston...
but i expect a better defensive performance, and a little more transition basketball..
that's how boston took it to us, they ran when they could, they had the energy, you expect that out of home teams
now it's our turn.
