Because of NFLE is no more, teams no longer have the exemptions and can only field 80 players going into training camp. Our current roster is at 90, so which 10 players get cut before TC?

Maybe some of these guys?

Lawson, Gerard
Lee, James
Mitchell, Xavier
Hughes, Nate
Thomas, Travis
Hill, Efrem
Cieslak, Brad
Dorsey, Nat
Schaefering, Brian
Wright, Kenny

Who do you see gone before camp starts?

I'm not sure who get's cut, but Kenny Wright stays until these young guys prove themselves. He's our only veteran signed right now. ( I don't believe they have actually signed Holly )

Efrem Hill, was he last years training camp WR stand out. there's one every year it seems and for some reason I'm thinking he was it last year.

Technically from what I've read he isn't since he hasn't signed his tender, but is supposed to. It's possible he could have and we never heard about it, this was a few days prior to the draft.

According to Adam Schefter in this Video, Wednesday's Around The League. It's near the end.

DeepThreat, Nat is still listed on the roster. I think he's a free agent but hasn't been signed anywhere. In any case I'm pretty sure he'll be gone. If you're sure he's already gone, can you post a link? I can't find anything.

Daman, I think I heard Savage say that Daven Holly still hasn't signed the tender but more than likely will. Have you read that he signed? Can you post a link if he has? I can't find anything.

Yeah, he spent the year on the PS but with the influx of Hubbard, Leggett, Hughes and Kasper I'm thinking he may be a casualty. Guess we'll see though.

AtzingerB, unless another teams signs him, he probably ends up bagging groceries. I'm guessing the reason he hasn't signed yet, (if he hasn't,) is that his agent is shopping for a better deal. Just a guess though.

Thanks Cal, T thought so, but there have been so many Training camp WR Wonders that I wasn't sure. And Your probably right about him being gone. At least I Hope all the guys we've brought in are upgrades to anything we had.

___

On Holly, I think if he signs with someone else we get some pretty good draft picks. I think we gave him a high tender. Does anyone recall? That's probably why nobody else has signed him and why we'll probably get him back.

Yeah, he's a free agent and since he hasn't been resigned by now he likely won't be back unless there is an injury in training camp to one the top players.

He'll sign the tender, if he hasn't already. The timeframe to resign RFA's is over for other teams.

Travis Wilson should not be cut. We havent given him much of a chance. I think the reason that he is dropping all the passes is because Derek Anderson was in a rival school in college with Oklahoma and the anger of that rivalry makes DA throw it too hard at Wilson so he cant catch it. We should put in Brady Quinn because he throws softer.

Even if DA would throw the ball extremely hard you should still catch it.

1. Oregon / Oklahoma rivals......sorry being from Ohio I guess I missed the rivalry games

2. He throws to hard.....Brett Farve had a probelm with that too..

3. I agree Wilson shouldnt be cut...Yet...if he cant step up to Cleveland Browns standards this season than yes he needs to go.

What you posted isnt a reason it's a excuse.....

Hey Travis, if you spent more time practicing and less time posting here, maybe you'd see the playing field.

Not sure of the guidelines but could some be listed on injured lists thus keeping them around for evaluation later?

Signing Steinbach - $49.5 million
Signing Lewis - $5 million
Drafting Joe Thomas and Brady Quinn - millions more
Restoring the Browns to champions - priceless.

I believe that's what they did with Eric Young, the OT from Tenn, but I'm not 100% sure. And I'm pretty sure you have to actually be injured to be eligible for IR.

That's not always so funny, but watching someone take it in the jewels accidentally if freakin' hilarious. Like that skateboard dude on the railing.
