Well, my cousin, who was 23 and one of my best friends passed this past Thursday. I want to get a tattoo as sort of a remberance or memorial. I am pretty sure I want it on my forearm, on the backside of my arm by my elbow, but that is still up for final decision. I am just trying to get some suggestions as to what to get. I know this is kind of broad and not very helpful, but I am drawing a complete blank and I want to be sure about something like this. His initials were AMM, and I may try to incoporate that some way, along with the dates of his birth and death. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

What about a picture of him as your tattoo, or would that be too weird/awkward for you?

Did he have any big hobbies/sports etc that he was really into?

Depends on how big you want to go.

One suggestion, my brother has a pair of hands holding a chain and cross that is hanging down from them, which you could have his name and the dates with it.

It's on his forearm, but takes up pretty much the full length of his forearm. I personally don't have tatooes, so I may not be a big help, but I do really like the one my brother has. Just not for me... could work for you.

Another idea could be a cross with the dates on the cross bar and maybe his name going down. Gothic looking cross might look good.

Most importantly, I'm sorry to hear about your cousin. That's very young for someone like that to lose their life.

Ask yourself, what made him his happiest? Perhaps try something in that theme. That way you both can smile when you see it.
