Pretty good interview.

They talk mostly about his relationship with his dad, nothing too big. Also talk about the accident and how the doctors were talking about maybe having to amputate his leg.

He also talked a little about losing his brother this past year, and he got pretty choked up over that.

They said that there's another interview soon with his wife. I'm thinking that's tonight? They said the interview was "tomorrow", and I think this interview was last night.

I didn't know he had a brother, and didn't know he died this past year.

Yeah, I didn't know that, either. Here's an article I found on it from October 17, 2006.

Condolences go out to Cleveland Browns tight end Kellen Winslow II, and to his father, Hall of Fame tight end Kellen Winslow Sr., on the death of Justin Winslow. The death was reported on the Kansas City's Star's Legacy.com obituary page and on Pro Football Talk, but it surprisingly hasn't been reported anywhere else.

Justin and Kellen II were half-brothers born at around the same time, as the elder Winslow explained in an interview eight years ago:

"My oldest son Justin is 15. Justin's mother and I went to college together, but we were never married. My Ex-wife Katrina and I had Kellen together. At a time when I was separated from Katrina, Justin's mother Dawn and I got together. Before I knew she was pregnant, I had gone back to Katrina and tried to work it out. Months later, I had found out that I was going to have two children within a matter of four months apart."

Justin Winslow was 23. No cause of death was reported. Kellen Winslow's Browns were off this weekend, and he hasn't spoken publicly since Justin died on Thursday.

No, there is nothing of substance about football whatsoever.... Apparently he doesn't tell all.

I don't know, PPE, the next interview is with his wife, so maybe she'll talk about the contract situation?

I don't think the focus of the interview was ever meant to be about football...so why ask?

It's like I was saying on another thread,, nobody but the Media and some fans are talking about the contract.. Except that Savage, when asked, mentioned briefly that they'll get to it..

Not surprised at all.. Good story..

What amazed me was that it was on Channel 19.. I thought that since Randy Lerner's neice drowned and 19news was the only station to play the 911 tape, that they were persona non grata anywhere around the Browns.. so I'm surprised that it's on that station.

I recall reading somewhere that Winslow was on ESPN:60 a while back talking about this stuff. I doubt it, but maybe 19 just used clips from that? Once again, I doubt it.

She can talk about anything she wants.......heck, I'll even hit mute and still watch.

You are better off hitting mute, as I have never once seen her being polite in public
