Eric Clapton is coming to town Saturday night and I am pumped!

I am sure there are a few people around here that have seen Clapton in concert, I would like to hear how the show was when you went!

It appears this is the first show of the tour.....could not find any recent reviews.

This is really cool....only about three miles from the house and he is playing the Amphitheatre....great show under the stars!

Looks as if he will playing the Cleveland area as well...here is a link!

It was a totally diffrent experiance for me, I was use to going to heavey metal concerts where the crowd is crazy routy along with drunk & high, I went to see Clapton and the energy level as just as high people just as fun...or should I say just as drunk & high but they were a fun drunk, didnt see any fights, and the concert was just like that, full of energy but a diffrent controlled energy, It was like instead of people wanting to just be there people wanted to be there and see it, music incredible, people stopped talking screaming when he plays, sure many song everybody sang & had fun, but when he played the song for his son that passed away See you in heaven, I dont think there was a dry eye in the place and it got so quiet you could have heard a snail fart. People who go to Clapton go for the fun go for the music but also go to experiance the man & his show.

have fun I know you will.

Clapton is awesome

The first time i saw him was at the Coliseum...6th row, middle. If anyone looked at me they must have thought i was an idiot...mouth hanging open, eyes as big as dinner plates...i was in HEAVEN !!

Every song had at least a 5 minute riff and most were more. To see a video does no justice to the man and his incredible talents.

If you get to sit close just drown everything out and get lost in his music...it's easy to do. If you're not close, take binoculars and just watch one entire song through them...you'll be glad you did.

Have fun you'll remember it forever

It is 84 degrees and sunny as hell, what a great night for a concert!

We actually have seats in the lawn, but it is cool as hell up on the hill looking down at the stage! They have mounted speakers up there and the sound is extremely awesome!

Hopefully, I will not have to smell the aroma of clove cigarettes!

After all these years, I am finally going to see Slowhand tonight!
