Online play on this game is so deep and incredible that I believe its the best of all time. You have so many choices and the game can be so exciting that I haven't touched another game in a long time.

If anyone plays online and wants to team up and play let me know.

yeah dude, the online is phenomenal...

with the exception of 2 maps, they are all awesome... (bloc and wetwork are eh)

i love how each weapon carries different challenges that you can accomplish... and the different "perks" are awesome too... i love mixing and matching different abilities...

battlefield 2 is still an awesome online, but in a different way, bigger maps, and the ability to man vehicles by land, sea, and air... but cod4 takes the cake..

COD4 takes some getting used to, but it is definitely fun.

I still prefer Medal of Honor though

COD4 online is cool.
I like playing BF2 on X-BoX Live, but I haven't had time to play anything. I am done with finals next week and plan on beating the stupid bridge level in single player mode finally. I have been stuck there for a while and haven't had any time for gaming.

i'm finally getting the hang of rifles....

I'm waiting on my stimulus check as I have to replace the mobo, which means mobo, processor & ram because I'm not dropping that kind of money into an outdated motherboard.

I'm praying that my stimulus check gets deposited this Friday so that I can build the rig during next week and perhaps be playing by next Friday.

thats cool....i know one thing...i have to learn all these stinkin' new maps....i'm getting shot from 10 different directions, and i don't even know where everyone is hiding at...

in regular freeze tag i'm up there in the stats...

If someone else doesn't write a mod for COD4 that works, I might have to figure it out on my own.

there is a ft mod for cod4....flatliners had it but changed it....

the 2 times i played it seemed to work ok....

i had to redo my rig, and i haven't installed cod4 yet...been playing all ft rifles...

it only kinda worked and it required a minimum of 4 players for it to work from what Gator was saying. On top of that, the guy that is (was) writing it was doing so as part of some larger mod, not as a stand-alone thing like we'd want.

The part that sucks is that you can't edit someone else's mod in COD4... so I can't just go in and pluck out his code to get started, I'd have to re-invent the wheel.

I just ordered the parts, so I should have them by Wednesday and be back in action by next Friday.

I Play on My Nephews PS3...His handle is PrestigeOne....ever see it and wanna play let us know.....you can always tell when I play..I am old and slow! LOL

I play it on the PC, not PS3 or XBox...

at as far as the ft for cod4....i hear ya....i know it worked...but i know you can't open the files....maybe someone will release something open source for you to work off of....

I've been playing the "Project Reality" mod for B2 and really like it. The developers have created some interesting game play and kit usage to push team play in a human vs human environment. They also have single player / coop. I particularly like the push and objective maps (I always wished there were more of those types with 42 and the DC mod). You can even be a "citizen" and throw rocks and such if you just want to chill.

I can't get my updated rig done soon enough.....looking forward to finally trying COD4. Besides I've been getting VPU warnings / dumps from my old P4 2.5 ghz / ATI AIW 9600. I would update the drivers, but ATI's lastest suck if you want to capture TV.

The new rig is built.... it is sweet as hell

I should have all games loaded up again by Sunday, so I'll be shooting ya soon
