How nice is that to see a Reds pitcher totally dominate like that? Wow.

I remember him starting a thread about how he was sick of a few people on this board acting like his parents, always nagging him and stuff whenever he would post. He said he was gonna delete his username, and I guess he did.

A few people ruined the board for him, which is unfortunate.

I almost wish that the Brewers or Cubs run away with the division and Dunn gets hot hittin homers so we can trade him before the deadline for some decent prospects.

His lackadaisical moments in the outfield irritate me as well. But I have to say I hope they don't trade him, 40+ homer guys aren't as easy to find as you may think.

Your logic makes a lot of sense......and we get rid of our strikeout king!

I'm not a big fan of Adam Dumb, either, but he does hit a lot of homers when he doesn't strike out. His outfielding is less than stellar and he's a slow ass running the bases, IMO.

Take away the fielding and you could be describing Travis Hafner, at least IMHO.

No way. Pronk had a horrible year last year and still had a higher average. Dunn is an all or nothing player. His career batting avg is around .250, Pronk hits .300 regularly.

with his low avg. and high K's he still bombs 40+ year in and year out and still has a pretty high OBP. for such a low avg.

The problem is that most of his HRs are with the bases empty and not only can't the guy field or run he can't sacrifice either. He's hit 40 or more homers the last 4 years but he's never driven in more then 106. I like the guy but he either needs to move to first base or he needs to be traded and with what little production they get out of him and the large amount they're paying him i'd say trade him.

11 stranded......11 freaking runners stranded....How pathetic..We deserved to lose that game...

Adam Dunn needs to moved to first or traded....His errors/sloppy play in the field are too much to handle.....

Dunn minds me of a guy who use to be a hot Indians prospect, Russell Branyan. Strikes out a lot , but when he hits it , he hits it a ton. Now that I am thinking about it didnt Branyan spend some time with the Reds??

Wrong. He went on a name calling and profanity laced tirade because one of his threads got deleted and got the boot. The kid sure had a potty mouth.

He might of gotten the boot but he also said he was leaving and either way its a shame that some people drove the guy away.

Yeah, I think the Reds traded for Branyon for Broussard was it? I think he was with the Reds for maybe a year? Not sure. I think Dunn will end up much better than Branyan, although I'm also not a big fan of him so far.

I'm thrilled with the pitching, even though Weathers lost if for us last night. Cueto is amazing, and I really see him continuing it. Soon as the bats get hot this team might make a little noise this year.

Sure, it would be a shame if he actually meant that he was going to stay away. You've been around long enough to know that people often say they're leaving but rarely stay away much longer than a couple weeks. This kid would have been no exception to that. But, his profanity laced tirade sealed that deal.

I know, I just don't think Dunn has reached his potential and I'm really not sure he ever will, in fact I could see him regressing.. I hope he does fulfill what he could be, his work ethic seems to have gotten better and his approach at the plate seems a bit better, although he's off to a slow start.

He may have had a " profanity laced tirade " but he wouldn't have done that if people on here wasn't giving him so much guff for acting like a kid but guess what he is a kid. Last time i looked this message board PPE so kindly built for us was open to anyone, not just adults, and if people had a problem with him they should have just ignored him.

And your right Jules it wasn't nobody that drove him away, it was a bunch of nobodies.

Ok back to the Reds.

Its Fogg (ugh) against Bush tonight at 8:05pm EST

The bats better be hittin tonight cause we know Fogg's gonna give up a few. Belisle had a really good outing in Sarasota the other day so hopefully he's not to far from coming back.
