<> Seriously, I'd like people to stop referring to him as a Pro Bowl QB. He wasn't the Pro Bowl starter or either one of the two reserves......he made it as the first alternate due to an injury replacement. While he played in the Pro Bowl, I wouldn't consider him a "Pro Bowl QB". And on top of that, he played poorly. <>
Exactly right - what a pitiful performance by a so-called Pro Bowl QB.

LOL, you're having a tough day Punchsmack, huh. If DA doesn't produce this year, Quinn will get his shot and DA will sit the bench. It's not that big of a deal nor is it that long. And if Quinn can't produce we got DA who IS good for our team. Remember that Quinn was skipped over by multiple teams who could have used QB, the Dolphins, the Bears, the Jets, the Bills. There's plenty. We haven't seen that much of him, and while I was high on him and think he'll probably be a better QB than Anderson: he's by no means as sure a thing as DA is right now.
DA does make Jamal better by being able to stretch the field. DA throws a great long ball and his underneath got better all season. It also improved Jamal's play because team's had to protect deep. It's an efficient offense and it works. Don't expect DA to get worse this season, and last season our offense wasn't the problem.

Yeah, because the pro-bowl counts how? I've never cared about it and don't use it to measure our players.
I'm not a huge DA fan, but he is a Cleveland Brown and he is our starting quarterback. He lost the game to Cincy last year which could have gotten us into the playoffs, but there were other games lost by the defense and such which would have gotten us into the playoffs too.... Get over it, I watch all the games and care about the team as much as anybody. I've gotten over it. He's been our best QB since we've come back, treat him like a Brown and show him some respect because you're acting like the guy is trash

Or nothing is and were just doing what we can do make the team better. Randy Cross had a good example for the first few days of free agency. It's like the opening days of mating season. There's a huge flurry of activity the first 24-48 hours for the top guys, then people actually start to come out of the haze and realize what exactly has happened. (He told it better )

I merged these two threads because the same comments and posts were being made on both threads regarding the subject.
I will now close this thread due to length and a new one can be started.
