Cleveland area Flag Football champs in their divisions. TIME OUT the "B" Flag champs and LEGENDS IN ACTION the 35 & older 8-man Flag champs. The USFTL national tournament was held in Orlando with over 285 teams from the midwest to the northeast and even canada. However, one of the team players(N.O. Hitmen) in this tournament suffered a very serious injury. The player paralyzed from the neck down due to some cheap shot(many would say) done on a kick off. After 37 yrs the USFTL might shut down due to the severity of this man's injury.

on a kickoff, the man was blindsided and took a blow to the head. immediately fell down. The biggest problem, no paramedics on the field during the event. They were doing CPR on the fellow when the ambulance arrived. Point is alot of money was made during this tourney...285 teams x min. $250 a team....you do the math. No available medical personnel for this LARGE event, it took 25 minutes for the ambulance to arrive.
