that's great, but the big ten, with no tournament and only playing eight of ten possible conference games, still has to address the problem of out of conference scheduling. strength of schedule will probably be used again in the bcs rating system, and as long as three out of conf. games are patsies, I'm not going to be too upset when Ohio State gets jumped by another school to go to the championship game. If the big ten were a better conference, it would be a different story.

Would like to see an annual game against another regional opponent not in the Big 10, such as Notre Dame, Kentucky, or WVU.

i'll wait to see how big those games are when they come up. I'm sure that Miami looked like a monster when they signed that one up.

Yeah, Miami was a lot better when we signed up to play them.
Either way, we're still going to have one of the easiest schedules ever year in and year out. According to the general population that is.

They likely will be. ESPN has Miami as having the #1 recruiting class this season.

I agree. Randy Shannon is pretty popular in South Florida and was a former player and coach for UM. They should continue to get good recruits.

Miami is going to be a juggernaut when we play them. In 2008 though, with our returning seniors, we will go undefeated in the Big 10, we will beat #1 ranked USC, and we will go to the title game again. Beating USC will end any criticism towards strength of schedule.
