I was laughing at this on Sunday. My in-laws are MSNBC-only, capital-D Democrats. Nancy Pelosi is their hero.

They were all bent outta shape about his Easter message. I thought that was dumb... honestly, what was everyone expecting? People getting all mad because Trump didn't post about forgiveness and renewal are just searching for outrage.

Not entirely sure how anyone could have pelosi as a hero?? No matter what your politics.

As for trump's Easter message, I guess it depends on how normalised you want that sort of ethics and attitude to become. . . Don't really suppose anyone should be shocked, not sure really how outraged anyone should be either. But it's wrong and it's definitely worth having a conversation about how wrong it is.

And I think you pointed out part of the problem. I wasn't outraged by it. It's about what I expected. But at the same time there was nothing funny about it. Normalizing this type of message and behavior is nothing to be proud of, happy about or to laugh off. He is supposedly the leader of the free world. I'm not sure the world sees it that way anymore and that's not good for any of us.
