This is where I feel a guilty about having advised you to hedge with your Jackson Hole property! I'd like to redeem myself and suggest doubling down on Hunter and leveraging your estate in Nantucket.
Poppycock! He's leveraged that property to pay gambling debts overseas, I'm holding the deed. If he is to fritter away assets on this foolishness he can purvey the olive farm in Napa!
Just don't ask for the chalet on lake St. Moritz in the Alps near the Italian border. He has to keep that to access his secret Swiss bank account and double sized large lock box.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
1. Is Cam Ward available at #2? Yes----> Draft Cam Ward No ----> Proceed to next question
2. Have you been offered multiple draft picks in a trade? ( must incl. but not limited to a 2026 first rounder and swap of 2025 first rounder) Yes----> Take offer No-----> Draft Abdul Carter Travis Hunter
My thoughts on the trade would be to accumulate early round draft capital in 2026 for added flexibility to draft a QB.
After hearing Berry's thoughts on Hunter, the need for offensive upgrades (and possible defense as well with this player), and already having Garrett, drafting Hunter makes a ton of sense. I still think I lean towards a trade for more assets for a QB (in 2026 or 2025) but if we stay put, I think this is the guy I want.
Round 1- Hunter or trade down. Round 2.- I think the trenches could be an option- there should be a bevy of edge rushers and OT available to choose from. Or we use the pick for a QB, whether that's staying put or using it to move up to the late first. Round 3. If no QB has been selected yet, Jalen Milroe (whether it with this pick specifically or using this pick to move up in the second for him) If one has, RB or OT makes sense. Round 4. Running back....there should be a decent amount of options left and recent draft history has shown us you can find one here.
I'm really becoming enamored with the prospects of Milroe the more and more I watch him. He'll need time, though.
Current bets for the draft:
1. Pick #3 will be Abdul Carter (+300). The line has since moved to -125 since making my bet. 2. Pick #4 will be Will Campbell (+250). The line has since moved to +150 since making my bet.
There is a bet I'm considering and it's under 2.5 QBs drafted in the first round (+235). I think there is a legit chance that Sanders falls to the mid first, maybe a team like the Steelers picks him, and that's it for the QB in the first round. Another bet, although I'm not considering it is LV taking both Sanders kids (+4000). There isn't much on Draftkings pertaining to the draft which seems odd.

Emphasis on "currently" but this isn't an outrageous take, obviously, whether he is selected by the Browns or someone else. To be fair, Schefter said a month ago that he was most confident the Browns were taking a QB.

If Brugler's report is accurate that Milroe has accepted an invitation to the draft, I think that is noteworthy. It doesn't mean he is a first rounder but guys have gone out to the stage when selected in the second round. Further, being offered an invitation does lend itself to the NFL doing enough research with other teams that he could go at a reasonable spot and not left sitting all night long (Thursday and/or Fri).
We'll see.

This is the seventh time Schefty has changed his opinion on what the Browns will do. Berry has him in a blender.
Sometimes I wonder if GMs put stuff out there for no other reason than to create confusion for their own entertainment.
Go ahead and add this to the LONG list of reasons why I would never make it as a GM.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
Baffle them with bs......15 year rating of QBs taken in First Round.....average of 3 taken.....over 50 percent MISSES....only 8 homeruns....JMHO... we went with the "proven commodity- Watson" and lost several first round picks and he's a complete waste.....we can't afford a miss....take Hunter at one....we need a number of players at many positions- don't reach at QB.

I actually think it is good strategy. If no one knows who you are picking and someone comes inquiring about a trade, you have an advantage. If other GMs think you want player A and they do, maybe they pay a little more for him. Also if you first choice can be had a few picks later, why not make them think you want a guy you need to pick now. You might get a nice draft pick in return to slide back a bit and get the guy you want.

If Cam Ward goes to the Titans Hunter should be our pick. It's like getting 2 players with one pick. JMO
Totally agree!
Something that caught my attention was Andrew Berry’s interaction with Travis and his father. Maybe a coincidence or I see ghosts but they looked very familiar and friendly with each other.
There was another I wanted to post from a different site, but they haven't posted on YouTube, it's still just in podcast form. Both places rank Hunter as the number 1 WR in the draft. But even more interesting is the shift this site, and tons of draft analysts overall, has made to Andrews Berry's original line of thinking in terms of viewing him as a WR more than the CB. As I'm sure many remember, people were talking about Hunter as primarily a CB that can be sprinkled in at WR from time to time, but that narrative has completely changed over the past month or so.

Round 1. Hunter Round 2. A QB (either Dart or Milroe is my preference) Round 3. RB or OT Round 3. RB or OT Round 4-7. BPA
(Trades could be done of course, but will assume the pick attached to the person/position would be a part of it anyways). One draft capital trade I will guess on is Cousins being traded during the draft, if not before. That trade could also be for 2026 draft pick(s), however.
I'm trying to narrow it down and be more precise with my guesses, which means I'm more likely to be wrong but so be it. I removed edge rusher in the second. We have Wright, Obi, and McGuire to use in a rotation, and there is always the trade option for a vet like we did with Za'Darius Smith a couple years ago. Or the June cuts is an option as well.
