Would have loved for it to be Cam Johnson but that was always a long shot. Hunter is a great pickup though. No more Niang!

I am just glad that we didn't give up Tyson.

I don't know enough about the NBA but from the media they won this trade.

They got a player they needed and the team improved.

It sucks to see LeVert go but I would have rather it be him than Okoro. Okoro's defense is important and LeVert seemed too streaky offensively. Niang is apparently a nice guy but he wasn't anything special. It will be interesting to see what they do with Hunter, Strus, and Wade's minutes once everyone is healthy.

Side note: We have Hunter's contract for two more years after this.

Tristan Thompson, not tarrifs, will start a war between the US & Canada.

Being a casual basketball fan I am enjoying the Cavs.

I don't have the league expertise to be knowledgeable.

I just watch them play basketball. They are fun to watch. I enjoy team basketball where the players and ball moves.

I quit watching for quite some time because basketball had gotten boring. It was clear the floor for hero ball.

If you had no super star. You could not win. The star was left to create his shot. Boring to me.

The Cavs play a brand of basketball that I enjoy.

The Playoffs should be blast.

That was Canada on Canada crime!

Watching this I was caught off guard why he did this at the time (loved Donovan Mitchell's reaction) and after seeing his response, I loved it.

Why do the experts pick the Celtics?

Is the fact that they trail the Cavs by 6 games meaningless?

I only watch the Cavs when I can. They look so dominant.

When they are making threes. They blow teams out. If not they win by 8 or so.

I expect them to win. When they do lose. It just looks like they are having a bad day.

The one other team that looks the part is OKC. They look like a really good team as well.

Steve Greenberg, the managing director of Allen & Co. —which is overseeing the expansion process on behalf of the WNBA — has declined comment on all bidding. But sources said the bids have ranged from $200M to $250M and that the Cavaliers likely won the 16th franchise with their high-end $250M proposal, their NBA infrastructure and their burgeoning facilities.

Owner Dan Gilbert and the Cavaliers, who declined comment, are constructing the Cleveland Clinic Global Peak Performance Center, which will be the centerpiece of Gilbert and Bedrock’s $3.5B Cuyahoga Riverfront Master Plan. The NBA Cavaliers would operate out of that facility, while the Rockers would move into the Cavalier’s current state-of-the-art training center in Independence, Ohio, complete with two practice courts, a team theater and a weight room in a remote wooded setting. Gilbert, who reportedly has poured over $1B into Cleveland sports and entertainment ecosystem since purchasing the Cavaliers in 2005, would also continue to upgrade the new Rockers facility.

Cavs crush the Knicks, 142-105. This one was over at the half, and only got worse from there.

Epic beat down.

They beat the Knicks so bad. There was nothing they could not do. They beat them all over the floor.

I want to spit in the eye of all those that continue to say the Celtics are coming out of the East.

The Cavs are a good regular season team. Ok then explain the point differential and number of games they scored over 140.

Time to wake up NBA there is a new sheriff in town.

Hope you're right Bone. I live in Celtics territory and have an extreme dislike for them as well as all Boston teams. The Pats I can tolerate but that's about it.

This Cavs team has brought me back to basketball.

I really enjoy watching them play.

Their brand of ball is fun to watch. Ball and players move. Good shots are the norm. Not selfish basketball.

When they hit threes they destroy teams. When they don't they win by 6 or 8.

Showdown with Celtics Friday. We have a good lead. But it would be nice to show them "we are ready."

It's remarkable. Orlando had even said prior to this game that this is "a game we gotta have" and they got pulverized.

I won't be surprised to see BOS try and mess with Cavs psyche and sit a key starter on Friday. Cavs have the stated goal of having the best record and getting the #1 seed. BOS playing somewhat like Cavs era LeBron and not concerned with seeding.

Man, this team is such a joy to watch and they are all locked up for the few years.

I am hoping against hope that we can somehow re-sign Jerome.

I doubt it though.

The Cavs make it look easy.

I expect them to win. Every game I watch they look like the better team.

When they are on and banging three's. Damn.

Cavs had a tough one tonight against the Celtics ... falling behind 25-3 right off the bat.

No fear, though .... the good guys wind up winning 123-116. laugh

A gut check win after falling behind several times. Atkinson was pushing all the right buttons at moments in this game. Monstrous game for Mitchell. Celtics got a lot of match-ups they wanted switching on to Garland.

It miffs me that Celtics were not at full strength with Porzingas and Holiday both out tonight. Had a feeling Mazulla would do this.

This should secure the #1 seed in the East for the Cavs which is huge for this team. What an awesome season! And this is just the start of a 3 year window. Celtics will have serious roster decisions to make after this season due to the luxury tax.

Go Cavs thumbsup

I am loving the Cavs.

Just ordered a t-shirt.

25-3 start against the Celtics in Boston. Could have laid down.

They did not take the lead till 100 points. Once they got the lead. They did not give it up.

Boston now knows the Cavs will be a threat.

I am trying to keep things in perspective knowing Porzingas and Holiday were both out, but this was a huge comeback win on the road that should instill a mindset to never give up no matter the deficit. This is especially important this late in the season and against Boston. Mobley continues to mature and develop into the #2 guy on the floor for the Cavs. I was a little worried about Allen's presence against a team without KP on the floor, but he just could have had a bad game or still dealing with injuries. He was a +/- negative 23 when on the floor. Ouch. And our bench was really good for us in the +/- regard..... Wade +12, Hunter +21, Okoro+3, Jerome +34, Merrill +22.

That end of the game block/tip from Carter on Tatum's three is THE very reason he was traded for. I think I'd prefer him to start over Strus against Boston if we meet them in the ECF to attempt to limit offensive starts like this from Boston.

The Cavs are something else.

Easy game to lose. They were flat and cold.

They fought like hell to get back into the game.

Then made the plays to win. Forty games over .500

What a team.

Is there a Cavs Board?

I am surprised that there does not seem to be any excitement about the Cavs on this site.

We have the best record in all the NBA. They have three streaks of 10 wins or more.

They have all the markings of a championship team. I marvel at what they are doing.

The way they have won the last two games is stunning.

I love this team.

Just wait until they have a minor slip up. A certain poster will be here saying how bad the team sucks.
