I've been seeing all the rumors going around on the net about us bringing Flacco back... Anyone think it's real? Anyone think it's a good idea? I think he'd be a good mentor and can start until a new young guy gets up to speed..

I think his likely contract works for us, and he would have some credibility in the locker room. Is it real? No idea.

I wouldn't be against bringing in a couple of Joes. Flacco as the "safe" bridge QB. Try to trade for Milton from the Patriots for the upside gamble. I think those two have similar play styles/skill sets and fit what the team did well when we had more success.

If the cost of the QBs in the draft is as high as projected, I'd rather gamble with less draft capital on a trade.

Would really like a QB room to look like this.

Starter - Kirk Cousins
Back Up - Joe Flacco or Jacoby Brissett - Competent back up's that know Kevin Stefanski's system and can help mentor a young QB so Cousins can focus on starting.
3rd - Jaxson Dart or Will Howard

Beginning to sound like the FO is going to take Sanders. I don’t think he has the goods to be a franchise QB, but he is Deion’s boy and Deion was a game changer. Probably because DEI is in his name.

And the Deion circus will come to town right along with it. The last thing we need to see here.

If you are hearing it now, it's likely a coordinated leak (no uncoordinated leaks was on the guardrails back when, which implies they do leak things on purpose) or a made up rumor that a click hungry league coverer is running with when not much is going on. It could be end up being true, but I'd lean towards it's more connecting dots from the outside (Cleveland needs a QB and he's a "top" QB) than being told from inside.
