What game! Allen and Mobley dominated this game. Mitchell did not have it tonight but the Cavs adjusted and played to their strengths against a smaller OKC team. This team should be getting so much more attentions, especially on local sports radio.

From an NBA standpoint, it's great to see two exceptional mid/small market teams get flexed to national TV. It gets tiresome seeing the irrelevant Lakers, Warriors, Sixers every time.

Thrilled to see the Cavs at OKC has already been flexed to TNT next week.

It'll be interesting to see how the Cavs play tomorrow night against the lowly Raptors after all the energy exerted in this game.

Go Cavs!

I hate what the Browns did to me. Made me feel like we're going to lose just because we're playing a good team. A weird feeling going against a top team and knowing we can win.

It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

Jarrett Allen might be one of the most likeable individuals in CLE sports...

That’s what I meant by they’re the anti-Browns. They’re all so likeable. Like dudes I’d be happy to date my daughter.

What a basketball game that was.

Damn.

30 lead exchanges.

I was spellbound. Locked in. Both teams exchanging haymakers. Nobody could pull away. Evenly matched teams.

At the end the Cavs made the plays to win it.

Best game I have seen in a long time. The atmosphere was heavy. Dripping with drama.

Can't wait for them to throw down again.

heck of a game and heck of a win

I was listening to Brian Windhorst on First Take.

He said the third period was the best technical basketball he has seen in him covering the NBA for twenty years.

And at an insane, frenetic pace. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. It was legit two welterweights trading flurries for an entire quarter.

And then the Cavs tighten the defensive vice and beat OKC at their own game to take control in the 4th.

This brand of basketball is a lot of fun to watch. I'm on board and will watch games whenever I can (Thanks, P 🫵)

I have very limited knowledge of basketball. I know a few of the star players.

Catch a part of a game here and there. Watch some playoffs.

What I saw was two evenly matched teams play really hard. High intensity playoff type energy.

I have never liked super star basketball where they feed the star and he creates a shot.

I like team play where the ball and players move. Shots come from all over and there is intensity on defense.

I was mesmerized last night. Every possession was played like it was important and it was.

I am going to watch the Cavs as much as I can.

Kind of a letdown game for the Cavs tonight .... and missing Mitchell ... but they still got tough at the end and pulled out win #33. laugh

Raptors played a lot tougher than their record would indicate.

The game last night could easily have been a letdown trap game.

The Cavs held strong and did not let it happen.

Bravo

Is this a joke?

Is winning really that hard to figure out?

Well I think also it’s obvious they’re having fun and they seem to have a lot of camaraderie. The team’s biggest star isn’t a selfish jerk. It doesn’t seem like there’s any jerks. And somehow, the all good vibes gang are producing wins. The NBA is a grind. Much more physically taxing than say, baseball. All that travel and physical exertion, it’d be very easy to get burnt out. Especially on a team full of the usual cocky jerks. I’d rather play for the fun team to. That and the fact that the bench and the team as a whole are getting more time and looks than just about any other team.

This 100.

It's also a rare look at pressure-free chemistry. You're not wondering how you will fit, if the superstar PG will give you the ball, if you have to compete with a ball-hog scorer that doesn't want to be upstaged. No wondering how you'll work with the "Big Two" or how you'll have to adjust to the "Big Three". YES, winning is important, and one of the first boxes to check but this team offers much more beyond that, especially in a situation where the incoming player doesn't feel like the weight of the world falls on his shoulders.

Go out and do your job in the spirit of "team". I know it sounds cliche, but a bet there are a ton of players that fantasize about this kind of situation.

Cavs in a tight one tonight. Up 62-61 at the half in Indiana against the 22-18 Pacers.

This one is broadcast on TNT.

Damn I am loving basketball.

I have not enjoyed the game like I have in a long time.

The offense is motion of ball and players. Love it.

Good teams lose lopsided all the time in the NBA. Thinking about Cleveland’s 2 blowout lopsided losses to golden state in the finals in 2016. He’ll, there’s a bunch of good teams this year that are stumbling along, getting blown out here and there (including GS) who you have to know are going to turn it on in the playoffs. Anyway,It’s about you respond.

We have a really brutal month coming up. So we’ll see how they pivot and respond.
I will say from that clip, I don’t think Barkley is wrong. Allen is key in the paint, but he’s such a “nice guy” he needs to be fired up. OKC played with a chip tonight. Came out at the bell swinging and we just looked flat. I think we need to be playing with a chip. Mitchel’s been in a funk. Defenders who hound him seem to be winning the matchup lately. Real stars don’t let that keep happening. Again, he needs to find his chip.

Look at Boston 7-7 last 14 games.

There will be times teams space out and lose focus.

Long season. Just keep playing. They know what works.

Keep working because when the playoffs show up it is all about being ready to play then.

What we think works and has worked did not last night. Not to panic and read too much into one lopsided loss. But, by the same token, let us not ignore the dynamic the loss exposed. It was a blowout, and our defense went from bad to worse. We didn't change or challenge a lot of shots , shots they made. The number of rebounds they got at both ends was favorable. The offense off our missed shots and turnovers hurt. Hindsight is too easy; we have some people getting extended minutes who lack production. We have a couple of ball hogs who will force their shot. Not everyone should be shooting the number of threes that we have in outr last two losses IMO. But we didn't hustle well last night. We need to stop pretending we are all snipers and pressure the paint. Cavs must know what to do, because they have done it. Improve the mix on the floor.

Darius Garland. What was that? A meltdown at the free throw line after an incredible comeback. He was in his own head. Sheesh, that was bad.

What a display.

I have never seen a team score 91 in a half.

I know the Mav's were short handed but still.

Callie Brownson's twin, Sam Merrill, drained 9 threes tonight to help set the Cavs single game records for made threes.
