I wish Bill the best. He probably realized his HC days in the NFL are over. He'll be 73 in April. If I were an owner, I would want a young up and coming coach too and he won't have all that pressure at UNC.

if anything it will be interesting to watch unfold

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I heard he had them guarantee his son is "coach in waiting".

Tell me he doesn't have the most contacts around. It would be hard to bet against him.

I know he certainly has many contacts. But just last week it was reported he wasn't getting any offers from NFL teams and according to CBS Sports N. Carolina is ranked #61. While he certainly has a lot of contacts as you stated, it would appear NFL teams and at least the top 50 colleges in need of a HC think the game has passed him by.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I think it has more to do with NFL personnel not wanting to give up power. If an owner wants Bill, every one, including the owner would have to give up some power. Bill wants total control and that makes many people in the organizations uneasy.

I believe if they thought Bill could still bring them multiple SB rings they wouldn't care. But I think the evidence was obvious after Brady left as to who it was that brought the
Patriots those rings.

I think it's going to be either a great move or a terrible move - and I don't know which one lol

Agreed. He’s now got the Jordan brand behind him. UNC’s NIL money has already jumped from $4M this past year to $20M next year.

Bill was a pretty bad talent evaluator at the NFL level, curious to see how he scouts high school kids. I suppose he could just go to Rivals or 247 Sports and just pick 4 and 5 star recruits at random. 😀

It’s probably a good thing that he went to a strong academic school as well.

Bill is like a musician.

Once you have spent a lifetime playing. You cannot just stop.

His life has always been seasonal. This is what we do now. The regimentation of life in football. Yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily.

He can't help himself. That is what drives him.

I am glad that he is doing this.

dealing with college aged kids at 73 sounds exhausting

Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday. -John Wayne

Being who he is, I could see the transfer portal being a big tool for him, alot of elite players prob love idea of playing for BB

He'll be fine. He's essentially dating a college kid.

While I don't doubt that's true it's almost like he went from selling out major sports stadiums back to playing in clubs. People are still listening but the demand for his music isn't near what it used to be.
