Chiefs vs Browns in red/salmon. Game is on CBS at 1:00pm EST. The wonderful Ian Eagle and Charles Davis are on the call. America's insatiable appetite for Cleveland Browns football continues.

HBO Hard Knocks AFC North. Kelce returning to his hometown with Taylor in tow. Kareem Hunt's return. Juan Thornhill revenge game (j/k). A ratings bonanza!

that's a huge audience lol

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Our Browns demand a huge audience. The country can’t wait to tune into our games to see how else we can screw up and lose. We probably have done it more different ways than anyone!😕

I like Charles. I don’t get the hate for announcers. Some are better than others, but they all know their stuff or wouldn’t be where they are.

I really liked him as a draft guy, he does a great job selling players. As an announcer it can be annoying. Though I'd rather him than Collinsworth.

I won't say hate, but Brady is hard to listen to. He does seem to have a firm grasp of the obvious, though.

I actually like his work, jfan. Brady describes things very well IMO, but he’s just getting started. To each their own.

Knowing the game a requirement for these announcers. By and large I think the vast majority of them have that base covered. What I would think the hardest part of being an NFL announcer would be filling the dead time. The time between plays. Let's face it there are sixty minutes of play during a three to three and a half hour broadcast. The rest is nothing but commercials and filling all of the time the clock isn't running. Sure there are plays worth replaying and discussing between plays but far more plays during any game are mundane and certainly not noteworthy. That's a lot of dead air time to fill.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I'm not seeing that. It would be a very Browns thing to pull off an upset here! I don't expect a high score this game as the weather may be a factor. Chubb 135 yds on 22 carries. I want to see more Pierre Strong here; please no Jerome Ford....

Chubb has not shown anything near that level of production since his return from injury. Neither in total yards nor yards per carry. I'm certain we rare all hoping we will see him return to that level of production and the sooner the better. I just believe that will be a process.

I don't disagree with you, Pit. However, my thought process was that if the weather is poor tomorrow, then this could be Chubb's kind of game. I don't want to see him over-used though....

I hope you're right but only a few short weeks ago against the Steelers in what some are calling the Snow Bowl, Chubb had 20 carries and only managed 59 yards. He did a great job on short yardage when it mattered the most by finding the end zone twice however. This is most certainly a situation where I hope you're right.

Yep. And this is where I think a lot of them fail, or at least mange to grate on peoples nerves on a week-to-week basis. Some seem to approach each game with an agenda. Others seem to find an agenda as the game goes along. Either way, you've either driven your point home after three mentions or you sound like a fool trying to beat a dead horse. Find something different to talk about before our heads explode. Collinsworth used to be really bad with this.

I was gonna post this yesterday but I didn’t have enough guts to be the first one lol... I’m smelling an upset. I feel like it’ll be close, if we can hang in there early.

Frank Gifford was always my favorite growing up. I learned a lot about the game from him.
