Tough topic. Nick is loved in Cleveland.
However, everyone knows the score. Nick will be 29 Dec. 27th.
The last game I believe I saw some improvement. He moved the pile and seemed a little quicker than what he has shown.
Still the NFL is not kind to aging injured running backs.
The rest of this year should at least give us a baseline to where Nick is at.
After this season is over Nick and his future in Cleveland should become clear.

I think he will be here IF he wants to be - with another incentive based deal probably.
Either way, we will be drafting a RB in the mid rounds IMO
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I think that would be true if he didn't have the injury (then again, we wouldn't be having this discussion if it weren't for the injury).
We won't know what he'll look like post-injury until next season.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Damn folks...you gotta give Chubb a chance to fully recover before you S-can him.
Chubb has earned a roster spot on this team based on "HIS EFFORT" to return. The choice should be left up to Chubb and not based on the same guy who was in charge of judging talent for the Browns...aka: GM, Andrew Berry..!
That would be the same guys who judged Kareem Hunt as being "WASHED UP" as a Browns RB.
Sorry, but the Browns GM has lost a lot of cred as a judge of football talent and kicking Hunt to the curb is just one more example of Berry's lack of judgement as a NFL GM.

That's a tough question to address. They have the rest of the season and the film that's yet to come before any such decision needs to be addressed. As you stated, he seems to be slowly getting better. So at this point in time I don't think the question is quite ripe. Only until we have the rest of the season in the books would it be in any way fair for me to try and speculate on this issue moving forward.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

At the end of the season you make a decision.
He will not be getting any long term deals.
He will be on yearly performance based deals.
That is reasonable.
I do not like Ford at all. IMO he is below average. He has horrible instincts and vision.
No matter what they need to draft a back.

For most running backs it is year two when they regain their form after an ACL injury. I do think Chubb has a place in the Browns future for the next 2 to 3 years but at the same time capable back up needs drafted. Someone that kind share carries with him next couple years and eventually replace him in the back field after 2 to 3 years.

I don't believe in Ford as that player. Chubb is still special, but the wear and tear, especially with this offensive line, won't do any favors to extend his career. I suspect he will run like the warrior he is. After Hunt, I don't have confidence in many of our personnel decisions, and who has gone. Unfortunately, I do believe the sun has started to set for him. How fast, how badly, and how long he has remains to do document. Hope he has all the success he has earned and deserves. Go, Nick!

I'd offer him a team friendly, 2 year deal with a team option for a 3rd.
