This is where we’re at with this pathetic loser franchise. In a year that we were supposed to compete for la bid to the superbowl, we’re 2-7. And, YET AGAIN… watching Baltimore and Pittsburgh compete for playoff seeding. So, let’s go Saints, beat the Browns so that we can suck enough to the point that attendance dips to the worst in nfl history. This way, Haslem has a legitimate reason to move this crap team outta her and into a nice new dome in San Antonio or Oklahoma City.
Either way, get this crap team, with its crap history, out of Ohio. The tax dollars and fan loyalty would be more efficiently devoted to the Bengals and/or Ohio State.

I'm still going to root for the Browns. Nothing is guaranteed in this life, and I will enjoy a win regardless of the future.

Yeah, I’m still rooting for the Browns. This crap post belongs in the Smack Forum. I can’t believe any fan would want the Browns to move out of town again and root for the Bengals.

I will watch, but won't have much emotion to it. Looking to see guys like Tillman or Mcguire or anybody else who improves

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I'll still root for my Browns no matter what. I don't like what's happened over the years or the situation we're in now, but it doesn't matter. I'll never root against them.

If that is the way you feel don't bother to watch.

Simple.

Nobody is trying to force you to be a Browns fan.

Me too. I see this game as one of only two possible wins for us through season end. If we win, cool; if not, the 2025 draft is looking even more interesting....

Smack Shack material. Since you've made it obvious how you feel why aren't you on a Bengals message board?

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

You’re right BFish,

I need to either shut up or leave this board.
It just ticks me off, after being a youngster at “The Drive”, the move, seeing our enemies win Super Bowls, etc.

I’ve been on this board since 2000 - back when it was the Browns official message board.

This was the year where I was sure that we were in contention for an AFC title. And obviously I’m a little emotionally irrational.

I’ll chill out.

We all hate where we are. We are all disappointed.

It is extremely frustrating especially when you start a season with high expectations.

It is easy to join the darkness of "we suck and will always suck."

When you break it all down. It is about who is your quarterback?

Great QB play makes everybody look smart. Look around the league. Head coaches with great quarterback play all look like winners.

All of the failures of the Browns stems from quarterback play.

Eh. On a good note, we get a couple meaningful Buckeye games in a row. Thanksgiving will bring a couple days off from work.

that is just an awful awful take.. our problems are alot deeper than QB.. FYI Saints beat us today with a WR doing all the QB work.. soooo

Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday. -John Wayne

Look at the standings.

Bills
Steelers/Ravens
Texans
Chiefs
Eagles
Lions
Falcons
Cardinals

See any quarterbacks like the Browns are playing? huh?

Do you think you are winning a Super Bowl with someone like Winston or Watson? Huh?

Show me teams who are contenders with lousy quarterbacks.

You do not win jack in the NFL without a good quarterback. Dispute that.

The Saints have four wins.

Are there more problems than quarterback?

Obviously yes.

You don't give up 214 rushing yards and feel good about the defense.

The ST are bad. The team is bad.

But until you have a franchise quarterback you will not win a Super Bowl unless you have a rare defense.

Is It?

The Browns have no identity on offense. This offseason is geared around Watson. I think they need to reel it back and return to what works for the group.

I have been avid for many years you don't need a superstar at QB. But, we need a leader. At the same time, you need someone who can perform athletically.

Look at the Steelers and Ravens. They continue to win. Why? They build an offense and defense around their identity.

Everyone claims they need to blow it up! Why? They finally built a top-five defense. It is time to get the offense to match that level.

Top 5 defense? That was last year. They are nowhere close to a top 5 defense this year and even further away from it after yesterday.
