I will listen to anyone's take on GOAT, but JMHO....there is NO ONE CLOSE to Bill Russell's record- he had 11 of 13 for 85 percent World Champions in Basketball.
The so-called GOAT Michael Jordan had SIX- 6 in 15 seasons.....he was outstanding individually and had some championships....BUT, he ain't close to Russell's brilliance. Michael was an outstanding scorer and he could play defense--- but Russell had a great point when he stated--- I play to WIN, individual doesn't mean much if your team doesn't win......mine won. Russell could score, he chose not to - and he smoked his competition. Who has someone else in mind in a different TEAM sport---- Boxing has undefeated champions over many titles, but it ain't a team sport.

Sorry if I’m missing something but I’m not sure what exactly it is you’re asking. Please be more precise. Thanks dude.

Wayne Gretsky. He didn't just break all the records, he obliterated them.

I'm understanding Wayne and Pele- both dominated in their team sports......but Wayne didn't have many championships.
I'd love to see Pete Rose in Hall of Fame now that he's dead...... ya can't have a guy who gambled on baseball in during his life time....but, he's not gambling anymore....AND he has more hits than any player ever.....he has to be in the Hall. Personal sins, wrongdoings, none of us perfect--
LET PETE IN.
