I don't expect Conklin to play again. Just my gut

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

For all the complaining we do about Watson, which is justified, Conklin wasn't cheap and can't stay on the field for nothing. IMO he was a waste of money

IMO, it was a savvy move when we originally went out and got him. His recent extension, however, was a real head-scratcher.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

If Njoku plays, it might be with then intent to have him stay back & block more. That's not to say he won't run any routes, but the OL seemingly needs as much help as possible and Njoku is one of the better blocking TEs in the NFL.

At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

I was surprised we got away from the jumbo package stuff vs NY ... it was effective vs Jacksonville

Two bad teams playing each other.

The Browns struggle on west coast trips. They have no run game. Both Wills, Conklin, Njoku are out.

The offense is not going to flip a switch and all of a sudden and find answers.

The only way to victory would be our defense getting turnovers.

I see another loss.

I agree. When the schedule came out and I saw our first 5 games I said we have to get off to a good start because they were all winnable. If we were a good team, we would be no worse than 4-1 after the first 5. Now we have a good chance of being 1-4 and starting to play tougher teams. We will probably be drafting in the top 10 and maybe around 5th or 6th the way things are going.

Talk about two bad teams AND two teams with injuries. Could be a really ugly game

Who should we be tanking for. . . . officially?

Asking for a friend . . .

Bard, I don't think we'll actually be tanking. I just believe under the current circumstances we're not going to win too many more games. Frankly, right now I don't even know who the best players are that will be available in next year's draft.

It’s sad that I’m already at a point in the season where I’m recording the game. There are pounds of chanterelle mushrooms up in the hills right now. I’m going foraging. I can choke the Browns game later.

Three games into the season and we’ve already reached the absolutely absurd point. Considering most of the seasons we’ve had since 1999 that’s quite an accomplishment! superconfused

Right now winning 8 or 9 games looks like an uphill climb.

When that is a ceiling interest goes out the window.

My hope now is that Winston gets to start and we see a Flacco repeat.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Browns TE David Njoku and two key tackles ruled out for the Raiders game

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- So much for tackle help against the Raiders’ Maxx Crosby and others.

Kevin Stefanski on Friday ruled out Jed Wills Jr. and Jack Conklin for Sunday’s game, as well as tight end David Njoku and running back Pierre Strong Jr.

this game could end up being a 14-9 game with the defenses scoring all the points.

Blocking those who argue to argue, eliminates the argument.

The coaching staff disagrees with you.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
